  1. They made a mistake letting Husker fans vote... they obviously don't know what they are in for. SUUUUH
  2. So why are we not talking about this guy? I'm guessing we have no shot?
  3. I am trolling over at ESPN.com and the push for Suh's Heisman consideration from all the comments from the Heisman page is overwhelming. You know that scene in Angels in the Outfield where all the fans stand up and flap their arms like angels? I feel like its the same, except for faerie little wings they are throwing up badass bones of death for our blackshirt. Could this actually happen? Could he get invited to New York? I don't care if he wins, I just want him to get invited.
  4. I didn't go over here knowing that they were all going to fight honest conversation. I enjoy discussing Big 12 ball with fans of other teams. I knew there were going to be a couple fans that would tell me to gtfo, but I was suprised that it was like 90% of them. And yes there are bad Missou fans, but there are also bad Husker fans. Do I like hearing "hey hey hey, goodbye" after we pulled a win out of our ass? No. But there are some fans that arn't as classy as others that make the collective look bad, I'm sure it is the same way at Missouri.
  5. Are absolutely relentlessly unrealistic whiny girls. Besides about 4 or 5 posters over there, they just act like little four year olds. I tried having an honest discussion with them and they just refuse to act like adults. The average age of their posters must be around 12.
  6. I agree that he isn't a championship QB. but by no means does he seem to often make stupid mistakes. I think that his best quality is not making mistakes. Yes he does overthrow receivers, but his whole plan is to throw it where ONLY the receiver can get it, giving the DB no chance for a tip or an INT, which leads to many balls that sail on him. He moves in the pocket and scrambles at the right times, and straddles the line os scrimmage while he scrambles to keep it as an open option. I think his mental game is VERY strong. He struggles in many areas yes, but please tell me where mentally he has struggled.
  7. What do you think the final will be?
  8. I agree that the numbers do show that he is a competent QB, however KState is in the top 5 for worst teams in the NCAA. I think Sheffield will become very good friends with our front 4 by the end of the game. Our offense will produce more than Vtech and Mizz, but will still struggle. I see them scoring around 17-20 points. Our D should keep them in check, especially with a predictable offense like Tech's. Our Dime package has been very successful this year. I think the reason we win this is Home field and Defense. 20-17
  9. they are voted form the 15 espn experts. Tim Griffin is also one that got to vote on the list, who also talked about how Suh and Shipley should be on peoples list. "Shipley and Suh deserve Heisman consideration. After their performances this weekend, the Big 12 has two unconventional players who I think merit consideration for college football's most prestigious award. Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is the most dominant defensive player in college football. Suh has to be accounted for on every play, making game-changing statements like his interception return that sparked the Cornhuskers' wild comeback over Missouri. And Jordan Shipley is just as important for Texas, becoming one of the Longhorns' primary forces as a receiver and a returner. Shipley accounted for a career-high 273 all-purpose yards against Colorado, producing 11 catches for 147 yards and a 74-yard punt return that was his second TD return of the season. Most of the media will consider Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy and Jimmy Clausen and stop at that. But to this point of the season, it can be argued that Suh and Shipley deserve strong consideration -- and not just from voters who might be thinking of out-of-the-box ways to present the award." Yet both of those players stayed off his list. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk.
  10. I sent him an e-mail... Unacceptable.
  11. Ok, lets look at this team by team... Florida, LSU, Bama are by far in my opinion the three best teams in the country. The big 12 comparison to them is what would be lacking. That being said I think we have more midranged teams then they do. Texas is overrated, so them at 2 doesn't nearly compare to any of those three. This next tier of grouping is Texas, KU, NEB, OU, Ok St. All of which I think have a place in the top 25, below the top 3 SEC contenders. The SEC team you can put in with this grouping of Big 12 teams is Arkansas. Old Miss and South Carolina belong on the bubble of the top 25. They can be placed with Missouri and Texas Tech. Auburn is over rated, I would match them up with a team like Texas A&M, but it doesn't really matter because the following teams don't belong in the top 25. So here is how my tiers look. Tier 1 - Florida, Bama, LSU Tier 2 - Texas, KU, Neb, OK st, OU, Arkansas Tier 3 - Old Miss, South Carolina, Missouri. Tx Tech So we have the middle of the pack, and they have the top and bottom. I guess it's anyone's call. I myself think that the SEC top 3 are so much better than the rest of the country right now that you have to give it to them. GBR
  12. Did you watch the game? Texas needed a blocked punt for a TD, punt return for a TD, and an INT for a TD. If you don't think that Texas struggled then you are on crack, not to mention Colorado was up at halftime. And yes... Missouri did take it to us. They were up 12-0 till the 4th quarter, our offense was laughable, and we made more mistakes than John Gosling. Colorado gave the game to Texas by not staying focused the whole game. For you to say otherwise is just silly.
  13. I looked at Florida's schedule to see who would knock them off, hoping that the all mighty and powerful SEC would submit a formidable opponent... I was wrong. The only ranked team they have left to play is #25 South Carolina. With Alabama and LSU being the only other good teams in the SEC, I just don't know what to think anymore. Vtech is going to have its way with the ACC, and the Pac 10 is overrated. This leaves us with the Big 12 and the SEC. I can't make any bolt statements about the Big 12 because just when you think you have the world figured out, Colorado takes it to Texas. Please help me make sense of the world.
  14. #1 poster rkhufu7 IS A FRAUD!!! His topic creation is overrated!!!
  15. From what i heard on espn... many analysts were VERY impressed with our win. I could see us switching spots w KU
  16. BTW, we also have Kunalic... which helps.
  17. no, the only two games we had issues was against Vtech (special teams Beemer Ball) and a rainy sliding night in Mizzou. We are much faster and MUCH more disciplined than we have been in the past 10 years.
  18. BTW, EVERY big 12 team got their games on TV today. I can't remember the last time that happened.
  19. Are you serious? We have the best front four in the country, and one of the top 3 defenses in the country.
  20. We could jump KU after their poor showing.
  21. Tyler Moore 6'6, 290lbs Gets a 5 woot rating from me... We just received a verbal from O-Lineman Tyler Moore. He is a Junior right now, and will join the 2011 recruiting class. I'm thinking that he will hit the five star rating. A REALLY nice pick up for Nebraska. Now if we can snag up Aaron Green next year, and we could have two of the top players in the country. He said the Vtech/Missouri game proved to him that we were going to be a team to be reckoned with in the coming years. This kid has heart. He also recieved offers from California Clemson Florida Florida International Florida State Miami (FL) Michigan Ohio State South Florida Tennessee West Virginia GBR
