  1. Yeah I thought that was funny too. I was very confused by its end. Holts said Nebraska once, but only while listing KU, Nebraska, Missouri.
  2. No need to call the wambulance. Its just frustrating that after all the work we have done to get back into the picture of top 25 teams, and even when our inexperienced quarterback puts up way more impressive stats than the Heisman candidates (against mutually competitive teams) we are still out of the picture. It's not that I think we are the only team that isn't ever discussed, because I think alot of the top 25 teams are very good teams that don't get talked about. This is similair to a discussion I had with my fiance last night while watching the USC OSU game. The Heismen trophy has lost its meaning. The media has turned it into the best QB contest, just has the media focuses on a few teams a year, and when they don't perform as scheduled, its like Billy Mays has been resurrected and is trying to sell them a new knife collection. I don't care if OUR team is the one talked about. I'm just annoyed to hear about the same BS over and over. PREDICTION: The media will now move to Matt Barkley to be the Notre Dame pre-yesterday, he will be hailed as this amazing play maker that single handedly took out OSU. But the truth is that Barkley's play was horrid. I saw him throw maybe a half dozen decent passes all night, and he couldn't put a drive together until the last 2 minutes of the game. I could rant forever, but the bottom line is that the media is out of hand.
  3. After the first two games, who are the big 12 quarterbacks that get all the buzz? Zach Robinson, Gabbert, McCoy, Bradford. How does this stat hit ya? BIG XII QB RATINGS AFTER 2 GAMES http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/conferences/...09&confId=4 Johnson from Texas A&M has only played one game so those stats are more skewed, also Bradford has obviously been hurt. This pisses me off. Especially after that "who is Zach Lee" comment at the Missouri game in week 1. 186.41 is slaughtering the rest of the big 12 quarterbacks IMO. You can argue the strength of schedule over the first two weeks, but I don't think that A&M, Tech, Texas, or Missouri has played anybody that much harder.
  4. I'm not scared of Taylor at all. Our defense was much slower last year than this year. He's not a strong passer and our secondary has been much improved. I think this game will be VERY fun to watch, and not something to fear.
  5. hmm, cool thanks. Ill be taking more throughout the year. I'm going to see if I can get some sold, because people go gaga over decent memorial stadium pics.
  6. How did you run into them a couple weeks ago if you don't mind me asking. HDR is cool, I havn't perfected it yet. The software I would use is called photomatix. And make sure you bracket your shots correctly with your camera. I have a Rebel Xsi and it pretty much has an HDR feature which is awesome.
  7. oh and.... "Cheer as the winners go by"
  8. speaking of this... pay special attention to the pregame media this week at the stadium.
  9. Does this whole, "cant lead with your helmet" rule piss anyone off? How else exactly are you suppose to tackle? The game isn't for ladies lets be honest, and yes at times it can be very violent and very dangerous. But to penalize somebody for a form tackle (putting your helmet in their chest) the way they are trained seems ridiculous. Im just tired of hearing announcers wanting the whole game to change to protect the players.
  10. I THINK CODY HAWKINS JUST DIED... thats what they get for keeping him in.
  11. lol can't say I have. Photography is just a hobby, I'm more a video guy myself.
  12. Well, like I said earlier I am new to the forums so I thought I would toss out a favor for the loyal husker fans. I'm a videoproduction/photography nut and I recently took some shots of the stadium. Let me know what you guys think. Here is a link to the set on flickr, there are some other HDR pics that I took but you can pick out the stadium shots. http://www.flickr.com/photos/epocson/sets/72157621588171957/ If you have a craving for any specific shots I can always go out again and get some. Feedback is welcome But be nice. Enjoy the Wallpapers for the computer.
  13. Normally I root for other big 12 teams, but I hope CU loses every game this year. I'm up at work watching this game and I'm like a giddy school girl watching them get manhandled. My prediction is that Hawkins will be fired by the time we play them.
  14. Best of luck to ASU, hope you guys have a good year (not including this Saturday)
  15. Hey guys, I have been reading on this forums forever but finally decided to start posting. Thoughts on the schedule for this year... I'm glad to see everyone is keeping their head on straight when it comes to expectations this year. Rooting for an undefeated regular season is allways welcome, expecting it / getting your hopes up for it is another. OU and VT do seem a shade more winnable now, but there is a LARGE step between competing with 2 top 15 teams and winning a big 12 title / NC. I have absolutely no expectations for this year other than we play as hard/harder than the year before.
  16. Man I love our home schedule for '10
