  1. Because every top 10 defense he has coached in the last decade hasn't proven otherwise already? Say what you want about his head coaching acumen, but for the love of God even Hellen Keller could tell this guy knows how to coach a friggin defense. Told ya
  2. Be careful, they are gonna tell you that you are wrong
  3. If you read my post, you'll see I mentioned the Nevada QB by name. And he's a run-first QB. Saying you held him to 146 yards is like saying you held Eric Crouch to 146 yards passing. Neither guy is a passer. You said that all three teams that Mizzou has played have passed for over 200 yds. I was just pointing out that Nevada did not, in fact, they only passed for 146 yds. Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, apparently. Try reading this again. Third time's the charm: To explain: One team (NEVADA) has passed for less than 150 yards, and that was accomplished by a running quarterback. The other three teams you've faced (FURMAN, BOWLING GREEN and ILLINOIS) have each passed for >200 yards. Furman passed for 300 yards, and they're a Div II opponent. Got it? OK, I get ya. My bad, I misread the post. I've had one of them days. Like I said, my bad. sorry

  5. And Nevada only had 146 yds passing against Missouri
  6. knapplc said,"Their other three opponents have passed for in excess of 200 yards each, including Div IAA Furman, who threw for 300 yards." You keep forgetting that Furman got most of their passing yards in the second half when the game was decided and Furman was playing against the second and sometimes the third string defense
  7. I am in Des Moines and get 1110 just fine in my car, however my radio in the house is a bit spotty. But 1110 would be your best bet. If you are in Des Moines, you might be able to get KMOX 1120 out of St. Louis
  8. WWWAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!! But hey, we did get a good one when Matt Davidson caught a off the footer!!! Remember that one it was such a happy moment! I think it was a night game at Missouri! No big deal! Hey, we beat MISSOURI ALL THE TIME Sweet too, we got a National Championship on that one! and then there was the extra down play! waaah I've let those go. It's 2009.
  9. I was ok with Missouri till they pop and beer on us and keyed our cars so not too hard to justify some very hard feelings. I would rank MU fans with Colorado It constantly amazes me how many people claim they have been treated so incredibly poorly at a ballgame. I love "urban legends" of college football. it is usually the ones that deserved to be treated badly by other fans that complain the loudest
  10. Nah, that's a shirt that should be saved for K-State.
  11. Dude, I'm not bent out of shape about any of this. If I was bent out of shape, i would be posting all over those blog comments, and Tigerboard. This is a message board. It's the prime location for this kind of fan rationale. In all seriousness, i love this stuff, and its part of the reason why I check out Tigerboard daily. Mizzou fans bring it on a regular basis. However, I will reitterate: I think a lot of you are suffering from wishfull thinking if you think you're going to keep Nebraska's offense in check like Va Tech. If Roy Helu goes off for 160+ rushing yards against the Tigers, NU will be dancing in and out of the end zone on a regular basis. Even the most Black and Gold Blinded Tiger fan can admit Tech has a much better defense than Mizzou. Secondly, there is no doubt Mizzou will have the best offense NU has faced so far this season. However, any assumptions claiming the Huskers will surrender more points than any of your other three FBS opponents is foolish. Anyone with a pulse can see Nebraska's defense is vastly improved and far more athletic than the last two seasons. My opinions are based on common sense man. i'm not going to bash Mizzou at all. I have nothing but respect for the Tigers. I do however believe NU has a serious advantage along the line of scrimmage, and one of the top secondaries in the Big 12. In Lincoln, I would expect a double digit Nebraska win. In Columbia, this game goes down to the wire. I frankly don't care if Mizzou's O ( or their D,for that matter) scores more points against Nebraska than any of the other opponents that they have played so far as long as they score 1 more point than Nebraska scores on Oct. 8th
  12. Running away from a fight.. just like a 'Husker. j/k Here's to a good game on Oct.8th
  13. Congrats on the win. That was 9 years ago. YOU DO MATH TOO!?!?!?!? Did you have to take off your pants to count that high? Note: I did say "Last time my Tigers played Mizzou." I can't help we don't play yall more. Well we're trying. The first step is to pass the tradition to you guys next year. Probably won't for awhile. There is a movement to quit scheduling patsies. So that movement starts next year then? You guys start the tradition next year
  14. Well we can all stop the p***** match come next Thursday night. A big leg up on being "The Best Team in the North" will be the winner of that game. Until the horn sounds to end it, it's just jabber. It's fun to try to figure out how the game will go, but it's pretty much a useless exercise. I think we are a better team and will score with Missouri this year. On the other hand I thought that last year. I think as long as Lee and the WR and TEs can give us a balanced attack we will be fine. I don't think we can score enough points without throwing the ball well. Could be wrong. I think if we can keep Misery from hooking up for the big plays and pressure Gabbert enough with our front four to keep him in check, we'll have a great night on D. The truth is that while I bet it will be a close game this year; it could be a blow out in either direction. Ask FSU fans about how that works. Neither team has proved they are anything very special to this point. One undefeated having played weak teams. One beating weak teams and losing to the one good team they played on the road in a close game. Whoever wins Thursday next will have some braggin rights and if it is the Huskers, it should bode well for our game with TT and our chance of winning the North. One step at a time is wise. Watch out!!!! They will take away your Husker fan card for this kind of talk. You know the kind...sensible.
  15. Congrats on the win. That was 9 years ago. YOU DO MATH TOO!?!?!?!? Did you have to take off your pants to count that high? Note: I did say "Last time my Tigers played Mizzou." I can't help we don't play yall more. Probably won't for awhile. There is a movement to quit scheduling patsies. That's just what they tell you. Actually it's because our medical staff doesn't want our players to catch swine flu off of the boogers that somehow end up on your players fingers... Note: I did say "Last time my Tigers played Mizzou." I can't help we don't play yall more. First of all, shouldn't there be an apostrophe between the a and the l in ya'll? (see your post where you criticize the use of you"re) second, The Clemson Tigers shouldn't be touching the Mizzou Tigers fingers thus leaving the boogers on our players hands. lol

  17. Congrats on the win. That was 9 years ago.
  18. an iowa state fan cracking our our team. Cy you look more and more pathitic every time you try. why do you line up against diaginal dakota state every year? The best part is you actaully schedule those games is advance. We use them as fillers when others drop us. LOL Didn't we have a game scheduled against Iowa but they dropped us? or was it the other way around??
  19. Care to try that again in English? I understood it completely Good for you. If I spoke Tibetan, I could understand the Dalai Lama. What was so hard to understand?? Well...aside from the fact that in actual English, it would translate into "You Are Family Just Waiting For A Plan Back To South Automobile...and the mystifying use of a single quotation mark in an inappropriate place...it wasn't that difficult to cipher out. Now if someone would help me with this stupid universal remote for my TV...life would be just ducky! I hate universal remotes
