That's the first thing I thought too. I can see MU and others saying "Why go to Nebraska? They don't even throw the ball." I gotta laugh cuz I'm in the AF and was stationed at "No Hope" Pope for 4 years. "Fayettenam...where there's a pawn shop, tatoo parlor and strip club on every corner and one of each in between". You forgot drycleaning. Fayettenam/Fayruit/Al Fayllujah, home of Kim's #1 through 8 and the Cloud Nine strip club, where all your stretch mark and c-section scar fantasies come to life... I don't know man, Columbus, GA is pretty bad. Can't spell Victory Drive without V.D. At least Fayetteville was close to the beach and Raleigh. Gotta agree about Columbus...spent 3 weeks at Benning and Columbus sucked! Other than BCT at Benning, that's about how long I spent there. Between Columbus, the red clay, heat and cold, and the condemned awesomeness of the D 1/507 barracks, I never, ever, wanted to go back there...

Curious about your handle - IHateBobCostas? What's with that? I think Costas is one of the most sports-smart, funniest and generous people around. Founder and huge contributor to the Bob Costas Cancer Center at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, easily one of the most knowledgeable baseball people on the planet, knows basketball inside and out, first announcer of the Spirits of St. Louis basketball team (home of Marvin "Bad News" Barnes, who once disappeared during the season to play in a pool tournament in Dayton).. Costas is a great guy. And he can tell a great story: Why would you ever hate anyone who said, "Go Nebraska," on air during a national championship game? Maybe this guy should take a cab home.

That may be to me and you, but the computers and SOS say 8-4 MU is better than 7-5 OU But at least Oklahoma beat Baylor .

This playing not to lose stuff is a myth and a product of bored fans. They are using different means for the same end which is ultimately the W. They will try to do what is needed to win football games and that is all that Bo and his staff are and will preach. -EDIT- And yes, I'm pretty sure that means opening up the passing game if needed.

Stop it now! Remember, you're dealing with the classiest fans in all of college football. Not only do you have to win, you have to win exactly like they want you to, no matter how unrealistic the expectation. We've even found ways to blame a guy for calling plays that he doesn't even want to be calling. No offense Fro but your stadium looks like a really awesome consolidated high school field. The rest may be as you say, but come on that has to be one of the most uninspiring fields I have ever had the pleasure of watching my team play at... At least you're not blue.
