  1. Hmm.. I you realize he's had NFL talent his entire career here. He was a touted recruit coming in, and should have seen the field often by his sophomore season. We complained about our lack of WR talent. Well we can see there was talent that wasn't utilized correctly. I think the same can be said about Meno Holt. Gilmore has to go.
  2. Every player that had a red jersey (the top) was an offensive player and every player with a white jersey was a defensive player. If you had white pants, you were on the white team and vice versa. So... If you were a white team player on offense such as Cody Green, you wore a red jersey with white pants. White team players on defense wore white on white. You get the rest.
  3. we need another guy with the "ooooo" sound in his name
  4. i always look at the Okie State game and think that we are overlooking it. but the more i think about it, the more i realize that they really aren't going to be very good without Robinson, Hunter, and Dez
  5. well apologies for at least half of my post being wrong. it was not announced last week, but for the record, i still stand by my source who says we are headed to the Big Ten, and as for a time slot, the above article from that radio station is what i'm going to base it off of. it says it will be announced no later than July. it's going to be a long summer
  6. Assuming is SAT is high enough, which we all believe it is, I'd say whenever school is out and his GPA is official.
  7. He scored an 1800 on the SAT. If it's posted correctly, he should surely be eligible. The average composite ACT score is an 18 (he scored a 17 and needed an 18). The average SAT score is a 1500. He scored well above that. I'm assuming this means he only needs to keep his grades up, and I doubt any teacher would be evil enough to ruin this kid's future if he's at least putting in the effort. The SAT is comprised of three 800 point sections which include Reading, writing, and math/science/etc. The writing section tends to be the easiest section. Even if he made a perfect score on the writing section (800), with a score of 1800 that would mean he made a 1000 on the combined remaining 2 sections... he only needed an 890 SAT score to qualify... IF he got an 1800, that means his worst possible Reading/Math and Science score is a 1000... thus he has 100% completed and made the entrance exam grades. Now, IF he ends the semester with at least all B's (which is not hard to do last semester of Sr. Year... usually you take easy classes) then he is 100% N. Good to hear. Where do you get all this info GKF? His scores, that is Apologies if I am sounding boastful, but it was I who posted his scores. It's on Rivals. I have a friend's account so I can only look and not post, which is why I post on here.

  9. you have to realize that its not really going to be the big 10 anymore. just adding a team with Nebraska's caliber improves the conference greatly. you have OSU, Penn St, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan. I think that more powerful than Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Okie State agree 100% +1 As far as high caliber teams, I dont think the afternoon nap confrence has half of what th big 12 does. They pound on each other and get high into the rankings. Then they play a confrence with teams that know more than 2 passing plays and get schlacked. I.e. Ohio State...year, after year, after year. I guess Ohio State didn't beat up on Oregon this past year huh? or was just 1 breakdown away from beating Texas the year before. Just because Ohio State got beat up by a Florida and LSU team in consecutive national titles. Everyone says they don't deserve a shot. Get a clue people. Ohio State is the same Ohio State that took down the almighty Hurricanes in 2002. As far as I'm concerned they only got blown out in those title games by an SEC school. But isn't that kind of happening to everyone? Getting beat by the SEC powerhouse of that respective year? It really doesn't take much thought to really know what your saying, so just put a little bit of thought into it before going off on how Big10 has no merit in bowl games. this x500. the Big Ten may have more boring styles of play, but it isn't as bad as people say. i'm crossing my fingers for the change

Ohio State...year, after year, after year. well that's not going to affect how good we are. you're saying the big ten keeps getting respect and good bowl bids even though they don't deserve them? that is true. so basically we're going to run through the conference every year and get respect for it. just because Ohio State can't win BCS games doesn't mean we wont be able to

  12. new link that backs my post Hello Big Ten
  13. ok apparently i shouldn't have posted the link. my source is somebody i know who is "in the know". my source is not this article! the article is for you to look at what the Big Ten is supposed to be, according to my source, except with Nebraska replacing Notre Lame
  14. FWIW Mr. Dodds graph map of super conferences doesnt have Nebraska in "new" Big Ten. It also has NM in the New Big 12 graph. Since its coming from Mr. Dodd, I will believe it when it unfolds. He prob trying to get readers just like other internet Journalist do. This map has nothing to do with why i posted this thread. i just thought it was a fun thing to look at. also if you read my entire post, i said ND is not in the Big Ten and Nebraska is
  15. That is a ballsy post. I'll take it with a grain of salt. I won't bash you..... yet. I shall wait to see what unfolds, then return to bash you if necessary. I encourage bashing if it ends up not being true. Or else posting things like this wouldn't be risky. But i am confident this is true.
  16. i have a reliable source telling me that Nebraska and Missouri will be moving to the Big Ten, and it will be announced this week. obviously this post doesn't seem very credible so once again take it FWIW. take a look at this link it's pretty interesting. my source tells me that Notre Dame will not be in the Big Ten and Nebraska will be. let the bashing of my post begin. Super Conferences
  17. 1. Ndamukong Suh 2. Matt Davison 3. Grant Wistrom
  18. That is exactly up for debate, and I made my point poorly. I'm pointing out that nobody was complaining about the WR production after the 2008 season. Swift and Peterson were also guys Gilmore developed. You have to look at Gilmore's successes as well as failures. I'm not saying Gilmore has done a great job or anything, but I'm not convinced he's doing a bad one either. Well here's a question here for you. Do you really think Gilmore developed those guys? Swift's best season was possibly his Freshman year. You could say his Senior season was better, but honestly not much. You also have to realize that both Swift and Peterson have naturally good work ethic. Maybe that wasn't the case for Holt and Brooks? Not saying they weren't hard workers but maybe they needed to be inspired more than Swift and Pete. I just don't think you can necessarily call Swift and Peterson "Gilmore's successes." I would classify them as personal successes. And to whomever posted that Gilmore is a darn good recruiter: I haven't noticed much WR talent coming in and any big time recruit, regardless of the position, seems to be pulled in by JP Haha you would? You were at practice everyday making sure Swift and Peterson were notes taking Gilmores advice? On sitting in zones, first step directions, and stop and gos, ect. They taught it all to themselves? Give me a break man, if Paul goes for 1000 yards in no way is Gilmore a factor? Please give me a better argument next time YES!! i was praying this would be somebody's response. of course i'm not arguing that Gilmore doesn't know the game of football. obviously Swift and Peterson learned some things from him, like how to sit in zones, etc. but so can 119 other WR coaches. i never said your everyday football fan can replace him, but there are many more capable WR coaches out there than Gilmore. and please don't even use Paul's next season as an example. he was an extreme talent coming out of high school, one of the few we ever have at this position (and Brooks, who Gilmore sure as heck didn't develop properly), and he is finally going to hit it big by his senior season, or the end of his junior season? Niles Paul would have been a star from day one at Texas Tech, Texas, or Oklahoma also notice how the two assistants that get the most criticism are form Callahan's staff? we shouldn't have kept them in the first place. now i don't want to start a whole new argument on Watson, because i'm willing to give him another year, but Gilmore, boy would i be ecstatic if i heard he were gone tomorrow. brilliant comeback. if you have a rebuttal i'd like to hear it rather than the childish, "i'm better than you so i have nothing worth saying" there's a reason we are getting no quality WR recruits to even look at us. they know that with Gilmore, their best case scenario is a possible breakout senior season.
  19. i like your sig. Thanks man....one of the greatest two plays I've ever seen in Memorial Stadium and got to enjoy that game with my fiancee. and now i just read this post, so since you have a fiancee, disregard the above post haha
  20. i have her number The support line for her website doesn't count. I'm just messing with ya She goes to Amigo's by campus every weekend night if you want to meet her! Well by the way she's holding that hotdog I just might have to go to Amigo's and meet her haha yes i suggest you do. she's currently stalking the crap out of my friend so you could personally stop it if you know what i mean

  22. Cotton got just as much if not more flack than Watson or Gilmore last year, and he's a Pelini hire. good point

  24. The following is a post from a Rivals poster on the Nebraska site. He is from Vegas and these were his first ever posts since he joined the site five years ago, so they obviously mean something: Folks, if it is up to any of the people surrounding Grimble he is 100% N. Everyone that has any influence on him absolutely knows that Nebraska is the right choice. The trip to Lincoln could not have gone any better, they all were blown away with everything especially the good ole Midwest kindness, nicest people they have ever met. Suh made a huge impact with everyone at Bishop Gorman, the most well spoken guest they have ever had with a great message. 2nd post: As you can see I never post but this the absolute truth. I just know some people in Las Vegas, since Ive lived here for 35 years. Does Jalen sign with us I don't now but we are definately the leader. Funny things can happen but I don't think Kiffen is a great thing for USC in trying to get Jalen 3rd post: Never did I say that Jalen was a lock, but rather that everyone surrounding him absolutely loves Nebraska. These are the people that he will lean on to make his choice. Ultimately it is Jalen's choice and he could pick anyone. As of April 25th everything I posted is correct, but anything can happen in recruiting. We should all take what I posted and be happy because we are in as good of shape for Jalen as we could possibly be. We shall see if he picks us I really hope he does, because he is a great person and it could open the flood gates to Gorman. None of this is speculation, however none of this leads to a commitment either. Sound like were in pretty good shape here for a potential 5 star
