  1. I have a wireless router. I have my laptop connected to my Xbox through an ethernet cable. I have the wifi bridged to the Xbox successfully through the ethernet cable. I have accessed the router and opened all of the ports microsoft has suggested. My 360's IP address is static/manually entered. and still... my NAT is moderate. Any ideas?
  2. I forgot to mention, make sure there aren't any tool bars hijacking your searches example: Askbar WEBsearch. Yahoo is alright.
  3. it would be more helpful if you gave us some specs. Which operating system are you running? 98/Vista/7 ? Make sure your OS is up to date with Microsoft update. You can do this by -> start -> programs -> Windows update or google "windows update" and go to that website. You said you have an anti-virus program. Make sure you have this updated also. If it isn't a full copy, I suggest using AVG anti-virus- free edition. Works great and saves you some money. Spybot Search and Destroy is great. Just make sure it is updated and it should do the job itself. Which Browser do you use? I suggest using FireFox - deleting your cookies and history can also help with speed. I have my browser setup to delete everything I do once the window is closed. If your computer still not running faster, I would suggest a reboot. There are a couple ways to do this- the easiest would be going to start-> program-> accesories ->system tools -> system restore. I think most computers have a "restore to factory default settings" option. Make sure you save anything you want on a jump drive, or zip it and email it to yourself- because it will delete everything. If this isn't an option, see if you have any of the discs that came with the computer. There will be a recovery disc. Hope this was helpful!
  4. i hate bye weeks.....anyone else?? Strange, does this thread pop up automatically on your screen? Don't click it? Also, don't try to hijack the thread by acting like we are some kind of moon landing conspirators- The numbers are there on offense. We did have 3 good games so far, but we also did last year(and we all know how that ended up). As the old parable goes, history is known to repeat itself.
  5. I have warmed up to the game thus far- There is a lot of strategy with the classes and they seem to be balanced enough. My only grip really right now is the awkwardness of close combat/melee and the ability to block the sword.
  6. surprise invasion from the USA NavY? Kind of like the German's marching into Poland backwards- The Polish thought they were leaving.
  7. I don't doubt Watson's knowledge of the game, a matter of fact, I think that is what gets him in trouble sometimes. You gave the example of Keith Williams appeal to the coaches and fellow linemen that we just needed to "run the damn ball", perhaps this was a scenario where Watson's over-thinking was more of a handicap to the offense.
  8. You're right about that HEAT, Carl said last week was the most complete football game he has seen played by Nebraska since he has been here, I wonder if he considers this week a complete turn-around? Like I said in the original post: The coaching staff did beef up the game plan this week to try and keep the kids focused- too many new concepts? or perhaps just enough to slide by SDSU? I agree, we are lucky they didn't have one or two more big plays or that game could have gone either way, I think we will be alright against ISU this year, there is bad blood in the air. KU maybe another team to watch out for- their WR might just pull that TD pass down- or QB make that throw a bit better.
  9. Anyone who has played ball knows- the best position is the under dog position. We got SDSUs best last night and that only got them a 17-3 loss(with a nice paycheck). In my mind, we were not lucky it was SDSU, but unlucky that they were even on the schedule. Anyone who has been on a good team knows how hard it is to get up for a game that has no real implications/below average opponent. Don't get me wrong SDSU fans, your team has my respect. I have to admit- I am a little surprised that the kids came out with no intensity at home and as my old ball coach used to say, "you guys were just going through the motions out there- Your playing with them!". It is especially surprising from this staff, that usually always has the kids focused. The announcers on TV were saying the coaching staff made the game plan especially complex this week to try and get the kids to focus a little harder. Perhaps this was our downfall. I think everyone understands that we had to try some different passing looks, but I think a lot of us thought we would be doing this after a 28-0 lead. "Today was our day off" -Bo
  10. For one, there is no Z on the grade scale. F is the lowest. 2nd, glad you wasted your time with this post. All a sudden we're the worst team ever. Might as well give Callahan a call and beg him to come back. DO YOU THINK WE WOULD EVEN ANSWER?? LET ALONE- ACCEPT THE OFFER???
  11. Intensity was lacking. Everyone was going through the motions
  12. and here.... we... GO

  13. Lack of intensity by the Huskers. Damn you Homecoming- DAMNNNNN YOOOOOUUU
  14. What is on Bo's arm?

  15. I would have kept the ball on the ground, 28-0 half, then brought out the pass to see what we need to work on.
  16. heart will only get them so far. But I agree, the D-line needs to make a %$#$% play.
  17. Yes. Clearly, because he doesn't want NU and OU to have any credit, he is purposely losing a game. Clearly... Laugh all you want, but this is a joke! They walked up to the line like they wanted to run the clock out, Brown didn't even look like he cared. Throwing the game to get a fire lit under his teams ass or something, they HAD TWO TIMEOUTS LEFT TWO did you read this TWO TIMEOUTS
  18. Anyone else think Mack is throwing this game???? There is no sense of urgency, I don't even think he is mad. I hope we hang 70 on them when he comes here, classless f#*k. He knows he is in for a f'ing ass kicking next week vs OU and one at NU. He doesn't want NU or OU to have any credit in kicking his punk ass.
  19. Cmon Horns! I WANT TO BEAT THEM FIRST

  20. I figured it had to be one or two things, damn the richness level of internet communication!
  21. PM please, my roomies said they wouldnt split the cost with me!!!
  22. Husker Freak, "Whether they are capable or not, I am not sure that they would be able to win every big 12 game this year." THEY do not win games, TEAMS win games. We have the top defensive group in the nation. WE have a dominant offensive line, a stud WR, with 3+ deep RBs. No one is doubting Taylor should be the starter- but you act as though our season hinders on the capabilities of T-Marts ability to run one play that requires him to read a linebacker. The author of the post said, "High School team and their offense was not nearly as Dependent on him as the huskers". Which is totally wrong. We are not dependent on him.
  23. of course we wouldn't be the same team. We would be a team lead by one of the other 2 VERY capable quarterbacks. You don't have to beat a team by 3 touchdowns, or bust off a 85 yard run to win a game. You just have to have more points after 4 quarters. I think people forget that sometimes. I am very confident we could do that to any team in the Big12 if not country, without Taylor.
