    11-3

Could Bo and this team reach 11-3? It is achievable... It'd be a huge statement by the team and coaches. A thread for your thoughts? KoolAid allowed
  2. we have allot of work to do on offense during the off season and Rex is a special player and so is Helu, but Rex does seem more consistent. if we can get Aaron Green next year, we will have a new set of the triplets for 2011 if CG steps it up like we expect him to.
  3. I live about 4 blocks from there. Basically, it is considered the center of town in Omaha. I've lived here for 12 years, and was there for our last national championship. It was absolutely crazy. Somehow, these guys had managed to scale the big crossroads sign and were standing on top of it shouting and working the crowd. You couldn't drive through there and police were on horseback just watching the whole thing. News media were on sight at every corner and it was a blast. I don't think we do this for a win against Texas though, it's just an Omaha thing for a national championship in my opinion.
  4. a rivalry to me is more about respect... OU is our rival, MU could be considered a rival, ISU could be considered a rival, CU? not so much
  5. I know allot of people think this is a pipe dream, BUT we have a legitimate opportunity to punk Texas and then Boisie State in the fiesta bowl. Lets not put the cart before the horse though, I want to see a dominating a**kicking in boulder first. Srry Hawkins
  6. bo-nose, if that is what they are really posting, wow.. just wow... I guess they are clicking their heels together and saying affirmations now
  7. was a single play "reviewed"? I don't recall one
  8. yeah, I'm curious about where to get tickets too.. Jerry World would be nice to go see while it's all still new and pristine
  9. Axl, I hadn't noticed that.. hmmm, I guess he might have a big head, but all great players do. I dunno, I just like what I'm seeing out of him and his consistency is getting better and better. Another year would do him well for sure.
  10. I say we crack it in the other poll as well, 25 or 24... doesn't mean much to me at this point as we have to play CU at their house, and they always play us hard... I would like to see a convincing beatdown for that game first.
  11. I was real impressed with Niles Paul again yesterday. I was curious if people think he might try to go early to the NFL? I know he hasn't put up a ton of yards or gotten the national attention, but that guy continues to impress, especially the last half of this season. I think he will be back personally, but that guy is one stud of an athlete, and someone from the next level has surely noticed. Thoughts?
  12. i wondered this too.. i think it was because of the different defensive formations, but Haag was in there allot... I think we missed having dennard in there
  13. Fiesta, Holiday, Alamo, in that order depending on wins
  14. don't reply then... ok, just something I saw once again.. and I'll bring it up until it gets fixed. sigh, yes it is getting old
  15. i know we won, and shawn did run the ball on the last drive to chew up clock, but did anyone else notice a deviation from what was working? the 3rd and 2 call, while successful, drove me nuts. I thought shawn called a bad game, and I wouldn't be surprised if he is asked to move on after the end of the season. don't mean to be a killjoy here, but we didn't do jack on offense the entire 2nd half sans that first drive for a td.
  16. she's got the hots for Bo... simple.. nothing more.. great observations
  17. The amount of recovery time varies greatly depending upon the location, severity, and the strength of the body's healing response. Complete rest and a cast or walking boot are usually used for a period of four to eight weeks, although periods of rest of twelve to sixteen weeks is not uncommon for more severe stress fractures. After this period activities may be gradually resumed, as long as the activities do not cause pain. While the bone may feel healed and not hurt during daily activity, the process of bone remodeling may take place for many months after the injury feels healed, and incidences of re-fracturing the bone is still at significant risk. Activities such as running or sports that place additional stress on the bone should only gradually be resumed. One general rule is to not increase the volume of training by more than 10 percent from one week to the next. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stress_fracture
  18. removing post, as I can't verify credibility they are talking about the MM sex tape on 1620.. the discussion is confirmed
  19. Bo isn't going anywhere... I went to the LSU boards and they aren't talking about Bo at all. They are talking about possibly hiring Weis as the new OC. KU Board is talking about Gruden... haha, that is a laugh
  20. hello, haven't you seen the offensive stats? they were plastered all over the omaha wold hearald last week... ok, disagree, that's cool. let's put some new guys in... LTW anyone? new lineman too. oh wait, you don't want to do that either... I will be surprised if we pull this one out.
  21. this is nuts, watching all your replies... Watson needs to go period. You could even hear it on TV, some fan screaming for his head. Yay, lets go NU... If I were a betting person, I bet we lose this one. circle the wagons, embrace arms, whatever you want to, this offense is going nowhere.
  22. This has been great... seeing all the replies and arguments (when I was even on your side on some of them). Same thing as a couple of years ago when I told a similar board Ganz should get the start instead of Keller... I got this SAME response... in fact, Joe would never of got his chance had Sam not gotten hurt. Anyway, this is what I mean by sheep... you guys just go with the herd. Enjoy the rest of the thread and our now 2 QB anemic offense. Cheers
