3 star 5.7 type kid. He is .1 away from being a 4 star prospect. I like this kids game and it says a lot about our staff to go get a kid that is this much under the radar.

A few of the things that stars dont take into account are: character, work ethic, heart, drive, and ability to learn a new system quickly. Under that criteria there Rex Burkhead would have been a 5 star kid.

I still see Oregon as the main competition for this kid. I think that Location is going to be the big issue as well in his decision. But from what I have read he loved it in Lincoln and adored our coaching staff.

Dont see either being a player in his recruitment at this point. The good thing about him and ND is that he has no relationship with anyone on Kelly's staff. This kid would be stupid not to go and play for Bo and Marvin Sanders. They could make him an absolute animal.

If we land Heard I dont see us taking Lamb. What if we don't land Heard? Tim Beck has made it clear that he wants a blue chip guy this year and nothing less. Not someone just to add to our depth. I dont see Lamb as that guy. But maybe the coaches do. If we dont land Heard we place another one of our eggs in the Aaron Green basket. Degan Reed (Kyler's little brother) is another good RB prospect we will look very hard at for 2011.

If we land Heard I dont see us taking Lamb.

Demarrio Williams was a juco kid. So was Larry Asante. But we shouldnt have hit the Juco Ranks for them should we? Ignore this thread.

Heard (the name Heard) or nothing this year at RB.

He knows exactly where he will fit in in our offense. He would be a perfect fit for where we are going.

When he came up here on his official he measured in at 5ft8. No joke. He is fast. But there are other fast guys out there. Based on his statements I dont want him anymore. But if we suck so bad then how bad is the school he is prolly going to commit to seeing we beat them 27-12? Even with a beyond s****y offense we managed to hammer his team. Sounds like the guy has some short mans diasease.

IMO he will be N. He loved his unofficial and his official, hes visited other schools, so that only leaves one more thing in this process: Choose one.

Why not both? Apparently it is a rule that if you get a blue chip player that you cant have any at the same position the next year.

From the kid who a couple days ago said he was gonna take a step back now from recruiting and sort of, ya know, evaluate, ya know, everything and different schools that would talk to him, ya know. ya know, I didnt really, ya know believe him ya know. Ya know it isnt unlike him ya know to go off half cocked and not think before he speaks ya know and make a big decision ya know.

From what I have read and "heard" (no pun intended) he made it to campus. Still waiting on how it went though.
