Not disputing that NU has a better rush d than us, but our rush O has stunk out loud the past 2 years. But we've usually had good pass blocking and that was non existent last night. Our o line should be great but the fact is they sucked against good defenses (NU and OU). Your D is better than OU in that it holds up strong late in the game whereas they gas out. I'm thinking Alabama's d doesn't have as good a pass rush nor as good a secondary, but they have a very fine MLB. And they have a very good offense. We'll have to play a complete game to hang with them, something we haven't done all year.

I thought you guys had the game when Gomes made that awesome pocketpick interception near the end when we were finally putting a drive together. I think you guys have far and away the best defense in the country, bar none. We were extremely lucky to squeak this one out. I sincerely hope Nebraska owns the north from now on as it should be. With Pellini doing such as excellent job I have no doubt you'll pick up a couple of great offensive players. That is the only thing I see standing in your way from being a national championship contender again.

Is a nearly muffed punt a close shave?

Oregon has an interesting and deceptive offense, I don't know if it has a cute name or not. One play that caught my attention against Oregon State they had a wide receiver move back in toward the quarterback to become the option pitch man.

Colt is great but he is getting picked regularly this year. Even the games he doesn't some butterfingered dback or linebacker usually drops a gift. It probably would have cost Texas the OU game this year if he hadn't tackled the interceptor. So there's a wildcard right there for ya.

!n the 2007 Texas - OU game Limas Swede played but only as a decoy because he was in fact injured. He was out the rest of the season. That was the only game Texas has lost to Stoops since pre-2005 championship.

I like Nebraska, its fans, its legacy, Coach Pellini and how he carries himself. I hope Texas wins because I went there and my deceased father played there, but that aside, I wish the best for my 2nd favorite Big 12 team. You guys have great team. I'm sure it will be a great game.
