TheSker: It has been repeated many times that at the start of Bo's tenure he didn't recruit much or put that much emphasis on it. Now that he has it shouldn't be counted as an improvement if he never did it in the first place. As far as the offensive line coach did it really matter? teams still quite frequently got behind our line.

in what way has Bo shown to improve in any area of being a head coach? there is no reason to get excited cause we know what games will be lost and will be one and the ones that are a coin flip. in what way are the huskers playing Nebraska football? We can't even get the fundamentals down. I think some are just tired of the same season every year no matter who we have in the lineup. there are no lows or highs. The thought of losing starts to cross minds just so it's easier to get a head coach that won't be scared to come here. However if we fire a coach that wins there is a little more reluctance for potential candidates to come here. One thing I know is i'm tired of seeing the same sh#t every year.

Considered by whom? Wisconsin is a public Ivy League school? PSU, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Iowa? Utterly ridiculous. are you implying that we would have gotten 1st tier coaches if we fired Bo before the bowl game?

I think Bo can lose and still keep his job. The loss just has to be close. Another blowout he can't afford. Or if he blows up again like he did against Iowa he may be gone as well.

I like how people are upset of this assessment even though it's 100% correct. Too many posters on this board thought we would come into this conference and push most other teams around. They constantly call the Big Ten crap. They always play the what if game and how if we didn't lose fumbles so much we would have won. it cracks me up. So much hate and disdain for the Big Ten. I get it. Changed happened and it's hard for most to comprehend and we don't have a solid rival anymore like OU. We don't have much of a history with the Big Ten teams. But there is no reason to put down the Big Ten when they could have left us in the Big 12 to squirm. Since we haven't gotten the results we expected from our Huskers a lot of posters have distorted reality. Until we win this conference year in and year out we don't any right to complain how much this conference sucks.

stats can be misleading. they are the good on an otherwise par year.

i did see that. she seemed pretty serious when she made the initial comments. and i am unsure how she was race-baited? i think the problem people have is more with the historical aspect of her claims, rather than any racial insinuations that may have been perceived. basically, it is just silly to be so concerned over the race of 2 fictional characters. fixed that for you for accuracy. as far as Santa being white that has more validity than even jesus existing.

this is an interesting point, in that i have no idea what you are talking about. Santa is a composite of Odin(Norse God) and Sinterklaas. Sinterklaas is based off of St. Nicholas. If you watched American Dad Sunday night you knew they talked about a character named Krampus which is true in that Santa rewarded the good children and krampus punished the bad kids.

The thing is if people actually knew the history of holdiays they find out that Santa has more to do with Christianity than Jesus does.

yes. Believe it or not even the mighty programs have losing seasons. I know it's hard to think about but it does happen. Yet Bo hasn't. Not even close. Do you give Bo the same latitude? Nebraska isn't a mighty program right now. The closest we have came was crack the top ten for a couple of weeks. As far as recruiting goes Bo messed up and said he didn't recruit as hard. So why give Bo the benefit of the doubt if he himself didn't put too much stock into it?

Link? i could never find a link over the year of the head to head matchups. I know this year of the six meetings florida won five of those. Most of it is from memory that texas schools weren't winning very many of those matchups.

I disagree. He's just a very happy go lucky guy who is friends with everyone. He reminds me of my BIL who's from there. And when confronted they snap back a little but aren't mad about it.
