  1. http://stiffarmtrophy.com/ Just updated again...Suh inching closer! M Ingram 68 81 43 192 409 1232 44.3% N Suh 91 38 45 174 394 1139 41.0% T Gerhart 60 62 59 181 363 1129 40.6%
  2. Yeah, they have quoted various margins of error...usually between 3% and 5%...and this looks to be a tighter race then has occurred before. Statistically it would seem to be a pretty open 3-man race. As a math geek, what this says to me is that they have no clue who is going to win on Saturday and their projection has little (if any) meaning.
  3. Seems like StiffArmyTrophy might be trying to hedge their bet a little bit on this year's Heisman. http://www.stiffarmtrophy.com/2009/12/digg...n-of-error.html
  4. AMAZING, very cool stuff. Thanks for sharing. There's enough pics if you cycle through fast enough it looks like a video!
  5. Very cool story...thanks for sharing. And, yes I am jealous!
  6. BUT, as McCoy is essentially out of the race, and he voted Suh #2, that actually helps our cause a bit. Ultimately on this ballot Suh gains 2 points on Ingram and a point on Gerhardt (voted #3).
  7. Yup, have to agree...his marquee moment came in the CCG. Oh well, I think they tend to break up these awards anyway.
  8. Wow, that had to be like the exact same time as my post, Mods delete mine please. Saw that, too. I think these awards tend to not go all to the same guy....so I kind of expected this. Then the Davey O'Brien will go to Tebow. That way, like AYSO, everyone wins! lol
  9. Ganz had a bad play every game that put the defense in bad position or gave away a score. You took the good along with the bad. You just hoped the bad didn't lose the game right off. Oklahoma, Missou, Texas Tech, V - Tech. The only great thing Ganz probably did with his Jekyll and Hyde was the Colorado game in 2007 where he could have saved Callahans job and he came out in the second half and gave the 11 point lead away in two plays. Boulder, Colo. - A pair of interceptions and a blocked punt quickly turned a 35-24 Nebraska halftime lead into a 44-35 deficit, as Colorado scored 20 unanswered points during a 5:07 I think Ganz was a very good player on a very mediocre team (with a bad defense). He did a lot with what he had. And, his whole demeanor and attitude during a rough time in Husker history is something, as a fan, I greatly appreciate.
  10. Ganz was really great for the team, and during a relatively rough time. Can you imagine what could have been if we had Ganz at QB with this Defense???
  11. I don't recall a lot of hype surrounding Crouch being put out by the University. Maybe I'm wrong. I just don't think we've been the type of school to push like a USC, Oregon, Notre Dame, Florida, etc.
  12. True to some extent, but I also don't think legitimate Heisman talk started until late in the season. We also never hyped Crouch all that much compared to many teams. I think if the University or Athletic Dept. had any idea how this would be playing out they would have definitely been more pro-active. The Tebow, McCoy and even Ingram pushes came early in the season. UNL did put up the SUH93 website, but not until rather late in the season.
  13. lol...that's about right. How about just making a Defensive Heisman trophy if the D guys are never gonna get a shot. Really irks me that so many folks left Suh off their ballots completely.
  14. I did see where they stiffarmtrophy guy noted that the closest they have ever gotten is within 3% of the actual vote. So, probably still within margin of error. Long shot I'm sure, but still holding out hope.
  15. I thought I was the only one who thought it completely ODD that a Heisman quality QB at one of the premier BFS schools in the country didn't know such a basic rule of the game. You'd think that knowing when the clock stopped is critical to any 2 minute drill, end of game scenario.
  16. I would assume that's well within any margin of error for their methodology. It seems that any of the top 3 really have a good chance.
  17. New here, just curious...and not harping on the OP, but do the mods merge threads here?
  18. Just looking for one that would make a cool background. You paypal?
  19. But, unless there is a mechanism for starting the clocks at the same time, how can this be? And if there is a mechanism for a synchronized start of the play...wouldn't that mean the clocks should simply be synchronized in the first place. As the rule states, there should be THE time clock...managed by THE appropriate official. Nothing plural there, IMO.
  20. I imagine this will be one of the numerous "clarifications" provided to referees based on this game. One clearly define time source used for the game...one clearly defined source of management for said time source...and, no alums in championship games.
  21. Wow, thanks for sharing. These are great. Looks like you have some pretty cool field access. Love the one of the little girl Buff fan yelling at the field...college football passion starts early!
