  1. Nebraska now in the "Others Receiving Votes" category on Bracket Matrix. Somehow, Oklahoma is still a 6 seed on average.
  2. Zone has been Miles' secret weapon in multiple games this season. I have no issue with them playing a zone D; had they scored in the last 5 minutes, they would have won.
  3. Well, things just got a lot simpler: win the Big Ten Tournament, and you're in.
  4. I stand corrected. They still won their regular season conference title, though.
  5. I believe that only applies to vacation periods. I think as long as it's during the Spring Practice period, and not during Spring Break, they'd be ok.
  6. That's placing too much value on the Spring Game, IMO. I would rather they take practices on the road; have an open practice in North Platte/Hastings/Kearney, etc.
  7. So, you don't want to take steps to reduce them, because it won't completely prevent them? Or am I off base here?
  8. I mostly agree with your general premise, but as far as the bold goes: those items are not designed to kill. So yes, the need for them, necessarily, isn't there, but it's a false equivalency to compare them to an AR-15 (or any firearm, for that matter).
  9. The thing is, I agree with you. I think it would be a hell of a game.
  10. That is one hell of a Jump to Conclusions mat you're using. I'm sorry, but I'll take the option that decreases the risk of children dying in schools, thank you.
  11. And that game alone would probably be enough to put Nebraska in the tournament, let alone winning it.
  12. So you're saying that Nebraska is better than West Virginia?
  13. I completely agree; they're closer to the 8 line than the 5 line (which is where they're at on Bracket Matrix). But both them and TCU are solidly in the tournament, barring a massive collapse in the last 3 weeks. Instead of their resumes, fans need to be focusing on teams like USC, UCLA, Texas, Syracuse and Virginia Tech.
  14. Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2 say hello.
  15. I watched Oklahoma beat Kansas. I watched TCU beat West Virginia. I also watched Nebraska lose to Kansas. If Nebraska doesn't have James Palmer Jr., they are not a tournament team, either.
  16. This is 1000% correct. This is true, but by every statistical metric that is nominally used, Oklahoma and TCU are ahead of Nebraska. To throw them out as "overrated" or "undeserving" is a bit silly.
  17. Yep; that's the scenario that no one is counting on. If someone like Syracuse, Providence, Boise State or USC wins their conference tournaments, Nebraska is screwed.
  18. No, it's not factored in anymore (which is silly, IMO). Also, to the second part: it would be a very interesting set of games, but both TCU and OU would be favored over Nebraska at this point.
  19. TCU has an RPI of 27; their non-con RPI is 9. OU has an RPI of 21, and wins over Kansas, Texas Tech, Wichita State and TCU. The committee isn't looking at the last 10 games of the year as closely as they have in the past, but those two teams are solidly in the tournament. Texas is the outlier, and is the one that Nebraska needs to catch, IMO.
  20. I'm not going to lie, it was tough walking into my classroom this morning.
