I don't think there is a make or break year. If Bo doesn't have anymore hidden audio tapes laying around, continues to win above 70% & runs a clean program. There is not a lot you can do without looking foolish. This is the exact attitude that will prevent us from winning a championship. We were so abused during the Callahan years that we're just happy not to completely suck under Pelini. Content not to suck does not an elite program make. Yoda had no faith in Luke Skywalker, either.

I missed my calling. Who would've thought that predicting college football games weeks before a spring game, 6+ months before the season starts, with absolutely NO idea who might get injured, who might pan out, who might quit the team, etc....could turn into such a lucrative business. I wonder how many weather forecasters are jealous of these guys.

Serious question? Why do you (and many) feel that in order to have the opinion landlord does, he also needs to provide a name - and not only any name but one that can guarantee 11 win seasons (which not even Saban could do). That person doesn't exist. But we know 100% that Bo can't guarentee it. So if you can't give me a name of someone on the current staff that can guarantee it, then I think it's time we changed staffs. It's fine to be happy with the current 4 losses and think that Bo can improve - but all you are giving is some vague argument why no one else could possibly be better. I bet a coach that lost 7 straight bowl games wouldn't 'guarentee' anything either. That's the funny thing about coaching young men playing a somewhat unpredictable game in a parity-laced world. You're really rolling the dice if you think you know what could happen week by week.

It IS but since there's about 8 million threads on this, and will probably be millions more to come, it is obvious that it's never going to stop until either Bo is fired, Bo quits, or Bo wins a championship (and in that case, people will start creating threads that Bo didn't win the title game by enough points.) Then if he doesn't get to the title game the following year it's time to fire him again. It goes on and on and on...

Such an awful situation. The Ukraine and Belarus are in really bad positions with the influence from the east hovering over them (although Lukashenko is little more than a Russian puppet anyway). I don't know if I see this ending well. Edit: I wonder if Russia is just biding their time on this until the Olympics is over, and then the stuff really hits the fan.

I love how the team was heading to the locker room, and Petteway turned around, went back and met the 5 coming off the court and congratulated his teammates. What a leader.

There is no reason this game should be close, other than idiotic refs. I wouldn't want to snap a rubber band on Miles' forehead right now. He looks pissed.
