Bo doesn't really strike me as much of a control freak. :-)

I must admit I came away from this game somewhat impressed with the offense and the progress they've made. That said, do we our really think Bo would hold back his D? I can see not showing the whole playbook, but I still think we have some issues that may not be "fixed" by conference play. Our front 4 seems to be getting handled most of the time and our ST coverage has been pretty poor. I repeatedly saw the other team receive the ball and had 15-20 yards of field with no Huskers around. Not sure you can "hold back" on that. Regardless, I really hope this is as fixable as Bo says, and we make the adjustments necessary before we visit Camp Randall. If not, it could be a rather rude welcome to the B1G IMO.... GBRR!!

Couldn't agree more. The B1G is a meat grinder. I was very happy with the progress our offense has made this year. I loved it when we ran the same play over and over with Rex in the 4th and dared them to stop us. But the defense needs to step up it's play in a B1G way if we are to avoid some frustrating losses..

Once Fonz is back, there will be a nice upgrade, but we need to grow up fast as a D. We'll beat UDub and Wyoming, but the B1G, will bring a lot more challenges. Lets hope we show the growth as a team required.....

Michigan is garbage, they play no one OOC, all their games are at home. Ohio State is decent, but not great. The only real team in the Big-10 is Wisconsin. Me thinks you will change your mind sometime this coming Saturday. Michigan with Robinson and Wisconsin with Russell Wilson will torch ou DB's. Shhhhh...... Honest, realistic comments are not welcome....

I will cover any amount you want to bet on this "prediction." Are you a real Husker fan or just another bandwagon hanger on? T_O_B And there we have it....if you aren't blinded by the Nebraska red you're labeled a Husker hater. All of these boards are getting really hard to read. Nebraska has played two subpar teams and looked so-so at best in both of them. The team is nowhere ready for B10 play yet so yes, there is the possibility they could lose 4-5-6 games. But, maybe the team fixes the issues (that have plagued them for years - (an offensive offense) - and improves immensely in the next two weeks. I sure hope so because 10-4 or 9-5 will be a disappointment. Amen.

Wasn't your offense good last season until it got decimated with injuries? Decimated by injuries = started playing good teams (with exception of UDub in the bowl..... Which we didn't want to be there)

I truly hope you're right and the team proves me wrong. I just don't see much difference (results wise) from this years O and years past. If we played tomorrow, Wisc would beat us down. Both sides of the ball need since serious gelling to compete... If I am way wrong, I will gladly stand here and take what I have coming.
