I cannot understand why our Defense shifts so far to the heavy side! It just invites good running backs to hit the cut back lane.

Doing a bit of bragging here. I am the D Coordinator for my sons youth football team. We just took our second consecutive league championship last night with a two year record of 23-0. Our defense has given up a total of 18 points in those two years. So proud of my boys!

I think you are 100% correct. Her "Barney Bad Ass" attitude is tiresome but damn she is nice to look at though!

As a coach myself....one thing you cannot teach is heart and determination. I start kids who have that over a superstar athelete who gives me 4 great plays for every 6 he takes off. When they get yanked out of the game, they quickly realize that they are NOT above their teammates.

At one point he also made the comment "if you live by man coverage, you die by man coverage". Similar to what Damon Benning was saying during the Wyoming game. I wish we would "live by the blitz, die by the blitz" instead

I have for the past 6 years and before that when he was our DC. When you get paid to coach at an elite program there are ZERO excuses for "we are just not that good". You are held accountable and yes even your job is on the line for the sh**ty product you put out.

Yeah you are right....We shouldn't expect to beat teams and have a chance to run the tables every year. How stupid of us!

Is this one of those Nebraska riddles we have to figure out? Are you saying we are "Bandwagoners" because we are upset Bo lost yesterday or are you saying it's because some fans wan't him fired due to the fact that we haven't won a NC since the 90's?

I am the Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator of my 10U youth football team. So far, we have played 3 games and given up zero points while our offense is averaging 18 points a game. I am so proud of our kids and for their hard efforts we are ranked second in the state of Maryland. Funny thing is the kids have no idea about these rankings and us coaches aren't going to tell them anything. I just keep preaching our team motto..."Fly like an Eagle". Once again I shake my head at the lack of coaching that was displayed this past Saturday. It seems to be the "norm" the past six years Bo has been here. What really chaps my ass is once teams begin to gain momentum against us, the coaches have no answer to stop it. It seems like every year a team exploits a weakness on our team that inturn sets the blue print for others to follow. Bo's arrogance is over due in my book. He had the chance to land a proven Defensive Coordinator (Stoops) but I believe his own stubborness shot that idea down and instead, hired a buddy. Hiring a buddy seems to be Bo's trend and I for one am tired of it. Sure, it wouldn't be so bad if his "buddies" knew what the hell they were doing, but obviously they don't. I am sure I am not alone when I say that Bo's days are numbered. I really hate saying that because I know there are ups and downs in college football, but we have had far too many. You can see in other programs, newly hired coaches make impacts that start their respected programs to rise again. Ours? Medicore at best!
