He told the SC coaches during the in home that he would wait and do an official after signing day. Great news for us, he didn't cancel his visit for them so he's really interested. I think he may have told them that to satisfy them and if he likes it here he will commit and then say "sorry" over the phone instead of in person. He's been to SC before so he will have a good enough comparison of the schools. Sounds like he's bringing his mom. So it's looking good for us. Besides the weather.

Any chance it's Pittman and we snuck him in? I'd say this is more probable than Williams. Haven't heard anything about Williams at all. That's on purpose. The guy tells reporters he's not going to talk to them. Word got out a few weeks ago that he was going to visit and he denied it.

I would like to think Frison Bush McClain But now we have a mystery recruit at the bball game tonight. Tubman with a last second visit this weekend. Boston confirmed late today. 6 guys for 4 spots. Some speculation floating around because we haven't heard anything from Lockhart or Stewart. Going to be a crazy end to this class. Just to unpredictable. Technically we could take 5 more and back count Darlington Cockrell and Keels to make 25. Would have to be losing a few more this spring thou.

Gotta wonder if it's the same reason everyone else passed on Parks. It's a head scratcher, as he seems good enough. Usually I'd think grades or behavioral issues, but that seems unlikely for a kid that supposedly had interest from the Ivy League. Parks made the decision not Nebraska. A.J. is great athlete that could also play WR. No. We never offered.

I agree! Seems like someone that is about to blow up and once again our staff is the homing beacon for unearthed talent. Always a good sign when teams like Bama are sniffing around late. They know they are good, but they get the 5 star guys that can play sooner. But sometimes these late blooming kids have more upside, they just take a couple years to develop. Bama can't sit around and wait a couple years, they want production now, and can get it. We've gotten plenty of good prospects this way. Ameer the best of all. Hopefully Auburn doesn't offer, I think he would commit on the spot if they did.

Ya, my understanding is they told Burtch and Williams that they are only for this semester and not guaranteed after. So they know what's going on, Bo wouldn't screw them over.
