  1. How was he cleared to play later in the game then? Lucky that is. I have no idea. Like I said from what I saw on TV it looked like they had an air cast for his arm. Maybe after the TV shot they didn't put it on.
  2. Supposedly Glenn had an ankle injury. It was said he injured it in practice. About Lucky, it looked like from what I saw on TV that the trainers were putting an air cast on Lucky's left arm.
  3. Ole Miss, was recruiting Palmer to play QB. Coach Orgeron, from USC, is installing USC's offense and wanted him to run it down there. USC, offered Palmer as a CB, but he doesn't want to play CB, according to his Compton head coach Angelo Jackson. He had offers besides the ones mentioned above, from Georgia, Mississippi, Oregon, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington and Southern Cal.
  4. Eric the Red, I didn't see any star rankings in your post for Carl, but Scout.com has him listed as a 4 star player.
  5. "The thing about the weather" I hope someone lets him know that if he goes on to the NFL, the chances are pretty good that he'll be playing for a cold weater team. He can come to NU, get some experience and he'll be ready for the cold weather in a few years.
  6. I don't believe anyone from Arizona has any room to spread rumors. They've gone 3-8 the last two years with Mike Stoops at the helm. If I was the staff at Zona, I would be more worried about my job than some other coaching staffs. I wonder if any opposing staffs bring this up to players Zona is recruiting? A third straight 3-8 season next year will do wonders for Arizona and Mike Stoops. I know Oregon, went 10-1 this year, but last year they were 5-6, and the two prior years to that they lost 5 and 6 games. Losing bowl games to Wake Forest and Minnesota. So they really don't have much room to talk about other staffs. IMO.
  7. I heard Coach Wagner pulled Boatman's offer.
  8. Benard aka schestev, I see your causing trouble as usual. Bowman, has had hamstring problems for most of the year. Glad to see he's back and healthy for a change. It's amazing how some or one can bash a player who has been hurt for most of the year.
  9. I remember many years ago CU fans throwing cups of urine at Nebraska fans in Boulder. So nothing these classless azzez do surprises me anymore. I would never take my family to Boulder to watch a CU-NU game.
  10. Kenny Wilson, is 6'0-6'1 215lbs and has a best 100m time of 10.2. If you were Marlon Lucky, how would you take this with Coach Callahan bringing in one of the top ( if not the top JC RB) in the nation. And like was mentioned Kenny has three years to play two.
  11. Tom Lemming had Nebraska's class ranked # 1.
  12. No, he didn't commit. He said he's going to wait a while before he commits, but he did say don't be surprised to see him at NU next year.
  13. This is just my opinion, but I think it would be hard for USC or Va Tech to spot Texas Tech 21 points and come back to beat them. We all saw what Texas Tech did to Cal last year.
  14. Last year down in Lubbock the score was 21-10, less than a min into the third quarter. Then all hell broke loose against Nebraska, 6-7 turnovers. It was a very bad day. I don't think you can look at the 70 points and say that Tech was that much better than Nebraska. I think had USC played a team like Tech and turned the ball over 6-7 times like Nebraska did inside their own 20-30 yard line, I believe that Tech would have put up at least 20-30 point up on USC. I don't know this for a fact that Tech would have score 20-30 on USC, but you can't give the other team the ball ( from an INT or a return from the int) at your own 45, 41, 36, 14, 8, and 6 and expect to keep a high powered offensive team from scoring. I'm not saying that Nebraska will beat Tech this year, but the points from last year are very misleading. IMO Now if someone would only give Nebraska this many chances on their side of the field..
  15. Josh Heupel. As mentioned above. Not many were recruiting him either. Zac and Josh are friends. Lets hope Josh rubs off on Zac.
  16. Not many teams like a Nebraska or USC or other top teams over the past few years go after JC QB's. Many want to develop a QB for 4 years not 2. IMO. Anyway if Stan Hill at Marshall though enough to offer Zac then that's good enough for me. I believe he knows QB's better than we do. I wonder how many teams were recruiting OU's Josh Heupel coming out of Snow JC?
  17. Both Lucky and Glenn have been given 20 plays each to study and learn. Brandon Jackson has been in the system for alot longer and knows more plays so he's # 2. Also the fact that Brandon isn't a push over, he's a really good back and had the fastest time of all RB's in winter conditioning. I wouldn't worry about Bowman being # 2 on the depth chart. It's against Maine.. Plus when Nebraska plays Iowa St, Grixby will not be the CB on WR Todd Blythe. Unless Cosgrove has a death wish. The 6'5 Blythe beat both Fabian and Grixby last year like they stole something.
  18. For comparison. USC's Mike Williams ran a 4.59 and 4.61 according to espn's Len Pasquarelli. Mike measured in at 6'4 229 at the combine, but when he first came to USC he was 6'3-6'4 and 200lbs the same size Spain is now. I'm not comparing the two talent wise, I'm just pointing out that both are similar in size at the beginning of their college careers and Mike did pretty good despite his blazing speed. Also it was said by both Damon Benning and (I believe Sean Callahan) that Spain was the best WR in 7 on 7's this summer. Fwiw. So if Spain is 6'3 and 200lbs and runs a 4.4 or 4.5 and was also the best WR's in 7 on 7's this summer, I'm sure he'll be ok in this offense...
  19. Team officials say he has cleared NCAA academic qualifying. They say the formal paperwork is just not back.
  20. It's official http://www.wowt.com/sports/headlines/1799362.html
  21. He's N but he still has to pass a physical before he puts on the pads. There is not a two day waiting period anymore before you put the pads. (I don't believe) Welcome Tyrell
  22. He didn't know that Nebraska didn't do so well last year in the WCO... Yet he has ND has one of his top teams... Go figure. I say the staff should pull his offer if they haven't already done it..
  23. A friend of mine told me that Glenn won the sleeper award over Lucky and others in fall camp.. Good job Cody... Frantz Hardy won the offensive player award.
  24. Bowman did win defensive player of fall camp. Which says alot considering he hasn't been here all that long, compared to others who have been in the program for 4-5 years.
