Ya I got it today. I like it so far. It seems like the chapters go by way too quick, however. Im already half way done and Ive only played for 3 hours.

Has anyone played Mafia 2 yet? If so, is it good or not so good?

Very nice. I just started a dynasty with Troy as well, but am only in my first season. It's tough sledding trying to get guys interested in your program. So far on the season I'm 4-1 with my only loss coming to LSU (34-31). I switched Troy with Vandy in the SEC. Troy just won the Natl. Championship two years after I left and I havent won the big one yet. The #1 QB and #1 WR from my last recruiting class at Troy were 1 and 2 in the Heisman race as RS FRESHMAN! Are you serious! Why did I leave? Oh ya, Nebraska offered me a contract. QB won by the way. I played them at Troy and lost that year. Man, I suck, losing to Troy. Well I guess I can take credit for that title since I recruited all those guys

It hurts me to say this only because Nebraska plays the same day, but I will be tailgating at the Big House on Sept. 4 for their game against UConn. I have a buddy that lives in Michigan and I am going on vacation to visit him. I told him I will be wearing my Husker gear to the game since they play the same day and I love my Huskers and need to support them. Anyways, the purpose of this thread is to give an update when I get back as to how the fans treated me in my Husker apparel for anyone that is interested in going to the Big House for future NU/UM games. I will let everyone know if, for the most part, they were rude or respectful. Im sure it won't change anyones mind about going to future games there, but it might just be a preview to what we fans can expect from them in the future. My friend said as long as I don't wear OSU apparel it will be fine, but we shall see. To be continued... GBR

This should prob. be in the conference expansion section of the board. They are already discussing the UM/OSU split. The difference between the Oklahoma situation you threw out is we don't play Oklahoma EVERY year like UM/OSU would. We play Oklahoma every two years. And how do you know they will not play in the championship game that often? Its not like UM will be down forever. I don't care who we play or when we play them as long as we win or make it competitive. Also, welcome to the board.

Doing a danasty, started out with Troy. Stayed with them for six years and led them to 3 rose bowls, 1 being a victory and the number 3 team in nation. Got the #4 recruiting class in nation, #1 scrambling QB, #1 and #3 WR. Was on the verge of winning a national title my 7th year with them and then...Nebraska offers me a head coaching contract! You think I can turn that down, heck no! My first year with them, #4 in the nation and 5-0. Gonna win my first national championship in that game with the Huskers baby!

So if media is banned, I take it Nebraska won't be doing a ESPNU all-access to their practice and lifting sessions like Alabama did...

With all the reports of players fighting at practice, just wanted to get everyone's opinion on the topic. Do fights between offense and defense help build team chemistry or tear a team apart? Kind of reminds me of Remember the Titans a little bit but that stuff ended bringing them closer together. I guess my opinion is how well the coaches handle it. If the coaches handle it well, it can bring the team closer, but if it keeps happening on a regular basis it can tear the players apart and create animosity towards eachother. Thoughts?

So I was playing NCAA '11 last night against Rutgers at home and they wore red away jerseys and I wore white home jerseys. It kind of got me wondering, does anyone know of a time we had to wear white home jerseys or red away jerseys to accomodate the other teams colors? None come to my mind. I know it is kind of a stupid question but the game just got me thinking a little bit.
