I am fine with not getting this one.

Par for the course lately. Betts being eligible has to be a reality or we are going to end up with another WR class with no big bodied wideout.

Visited TCU this past weekend and A&M were in home with him today. Seems like he wants to stay in TX. If he goes back to TCU he won’t have to get an AA like he would have to to get to Nebraska, so the rumors of his grades being pretty bad seem to have legs.

Still think this one is going to come back and bite us.

Unfortunately for ILB it is 100% A. Ruud missed on a lot of guys this year and now those wounds are showing as signing day draws near. Other positions the staff did great, but so far ILB has been such a cluster and until KJ and Butler/Ivey are in the fold, OLB looks bad as well.

Still think this was a mistake unless they have someone in the fold who is substantially better and isn’t an unranked JUCO. I unfortunately don’t think they do at this point in time.

Yes I do because this team has done nothing to prove they are a winning team and this staff has not shown they can develop this team to make the leap to be a winning program after two years. We looked terrible in most aspects of the game last year as compared to two years ago. Special teams is going to be a major problem u til proven otherwise, WR as well, consistent OL play, terrible LB play with no depth this year. All those add up to having a 6-6 ceiling until proven otherwise. Would I say I enjoy being a Nebraska fan? Not lately but I will always be a fan.

I wish I could see it that way. Purdue will have all their main weapons back and Frost has been out coached by Brohm two years in a row with less talent. SDSU, Central Michigan, and Cincy are all teams trending up. 6-6 is definitely best case scenario with this team as we have not seen any signs of development outside DB’s and DL from year 1 to 2. Plus we have a staff who has mismanaged multiple games. There is also way to many question marks all over the field, specifically WR and special teams. I have 0 confidence this team magically pulls it together between then and kickoff against Purdue.

I think that reality has already happened.

Yeah it ain’t gonna be pretty next year. 5-7 seems likely with how that schedule is set up and with the many question marks we have. 2021 aint easy either.

And with next years schedule there will be plenty of disasters.

We better hope because a JUCO with 4 for 3 eligibility and is immediately able to contribute is damn hard to pass up especially with how poor our ILB play is

With that and Smothers bump it moves up to 26th in team rankings with only 15 known commits.

I think we are looking at for OLB: KJ, Gunnerson, Aho, and one of Ivey, Butler, or another JUCO. I wouldn’t mind them taking Ivey/Butler plus another JUCO. That position has been a nightmare for this staff so keep stocking it until something sticks. For ILB: I assume is Hodge and Mauga at this point

Beckton will be in home tonight

I am hoping he is an ILB prospect for us cause right now besides Hodge, that well is bone dry.
