But you're a Mod.
I gave two options. I'm content with bust being the outcome....or I didn't read the rules carefully. You know, one or the other.

Longsnapper or bust! I maintain my special-ness.

Take it to PM's guys or to the other sports forum. This isn't the right place for this conversation. @HuskerInLostWages @seaofred92

Transfer from Air Force, originally from Norfolk I believe.
Gotta love the impact this hire is having on Nebraska kids.

It's kind of crazy. 5 guys get combine invites and we were a 4 win team. Wish we could've seen this team with consistent high quality coaching.

First three posts are from a different thread. Trying to keep things on topic given the incoming information.

Ya because every Republican was on board the Trump train right before he won the presidency right?
You're diverting the discussion. If Democrats and Republicans both paid for it doesn't it undermine aspects of the memo that the DNC paid for this and therefore we can't count on it?
If you're saying that only Republicans who didn't like trump paid for it, there's a burden of proof that you need to give.
If you're operating under the assumption that only people who are for Trump can conduct this investigating, we need to factor in that it is possible the results of this investigation will turn them against Trump. Therefore you're at a logical tautology that doesn't work.
I encourage you to look into some of Michael Shermers BS detection device work.

This to me is the oddest part of the whole thing. They're saying that Steele was biased by citing a quote from him after he compiled his information.
To translate that from Steele's point of view: I have evidence that I believe. That evidence suggests that Trump is heavily under the influence of Russia. I really do don't want him to be in office.
That seems like a good bias to have. Am I missing something?

Wait what?
A number of posts got a little past the point of what we would want. Had to be removed.

Alright folks, lets try this again. No talking about recruits moms and try to stay on topic. This thread in particular is going to be on a short leash with me. I let you have some fun with the gifs, but people are getting carried away.

Sorry, academic setting gives me access. A research group with access to a federal database conducted an analysis (logistic regression) to determine the impact of citizenship on the likelihood of disproportionate arrest for federal drug and violent crimes along the US Mexico border (presumably a location for a high level of non-citizens). In arrests for homicide, assault, robbery, and weapons offenses, US citizens were disproportionately more likely than non-citizens to be arrested. The only area this trend reversed was for marijuana offenses.
If we equate being arrested with guilt, this suggests that Americans are more likely to engage in violent crimes in proportion to the total population they represent.
The reason I posted this is that many people make statements without showing where the data come from. I like to back up those statements with facts and data. It's a bit of a parallel statement to what was in the tweets, but we just had a whole bunch of hateful rhetoric posted around our campus, so it feels relevant to me.

Remember the time that guy yelled "You LIE!" at Obama. Boy, that was something.
Anyway, didn't listen to a lick of this deal, but I see Trump is busy spreading misinformation about immigrants again. The scapegoating of the immigrant looking to come to America is truly one of the saddest aspects of the Trump presidency. I didn't realize how fully the GOP would buy in to his hardline rhetoric.
Remember, Trump & people like him (looking at you, Scott Walker...) cannot pass their agendas unless they cloak them in massive ignorance & hope people don't notice while they sneak them by.

Kid was put in tough in one tough position after another. I think he was both the type of player we stand for ("whatever I can do to help contribute") and also perfectly represents what we want our program to stand for (integrity in victory...well victory was somewhat optional recently). It seems like a good time for him to transition.

You didn't invite all of Huskerboard or at least the mod team?
I've been trying to get everyone together for a tailgate the last two seasons. We'll start there. Maybe I'll let you know about the reception if we have more food than guests.

Ha - I'm in this same boat. I'm going to settle on something like a personalized scotch glass or beer mug but, the truth of the matter is, just about every groomsman gift I've ever received has sat unused.
Same. If either of you were the reason I didn't get my first choice photographer in Lincoln I'm going to be pissed.

Alright folks. I'm branching this conversation about our current line play out to another branch. It should be up shortly.
Conversation can be continued now in the Husker Football Forum. I think it's an interesting dialogue.

Wiltfong just stopped by 247 set the record straight: OSU wanted this kid, bad. We just actually won out here. Wisky and A&M also really wanted involved.
Feels good to have hope about outright winning these recruiting battles. I think a respectable record next year could make for a pretty amazing recruiting class.

That's kind of you to offer, I don't feel like there's a need. My ego is perfectly content with the mod label under my name.
