  1. This is my theory on him. I think he is an excellent practice player. I know guys in sports who can really look good in practice because they're good in simulated scenarios. Gabe Ervin really struggles to make a good first step and go. Aside from a few mis direction carries against OU two years ago, he looked really bad. Then scrawny Rahmir comes in and breaks off 17 yard gains while carrying guys. He needs to be a gamer and he hasn't proven he can be yet.
  2. When the bullets are flying, Gabe Ervin cannot see the hole. He has about as bad of vision that I have seen from our Rb's in a long time. If this staff doesn't get in their own way, it's Ajay and Rahmir. If Grant gets his stuff together, then throw him in obviously. The biggest mistake will be not finding a role for Rahmir. I've seen enough from Gabe. Trust me, I like his build the most and would love for him to be a guy but I dont see it.
  3. At this point, I am over him being apart of the class. Based on my experience with kids, he is looking for reasons to leave the state.
  4. Nebraska should take all three if they can. The system allows for that. If this D is going to be attacking or have a fourth down lineman, you can have three speed rushers for LBs.
  5. He is sudden and well put together for being a tad under 5ft 11in. I like him a lot.
  6. Fongbomb of him recommitting to the guys in scarlet and cream. Did I mention he would be an elite MLB?
  7. Out of all the hires so far, this is the one I'd say get excited about. He is going to get some dudes now that he's here.
  8. He is in that top tier of young coordinators who were going to get a job anywhere in the country.
  9. Damn. I have met this guy multiple times when he was coming up. He is legit and very well respected in the coaching circle. Also, a huge reason why Syracuse has been good as of late.
  10. I have. Clear as day, link was sent to me and it was up hours after the incident took place.
  11. I am 32 years old. I know what a thirst trap is. But I am trying to explain with some class and in a way that all walks of life and ages can understand. If my wife was posting her a$$ for everyone to see when I was gone working, yeah I'm having speaks with her and telling her to stop. This isn't to victim blame. I am just explaining what I was told because this happened around the same time the incident took place. Mickey screwed up big time.
  12. There is also heavy smoke that he has more than a valid reason for being upset. Now, again this is not a reason to strike or touch woman violently. But apparently (i don't know specifics) it's really bad on her part.
  13. A suggestive picture of her backside in tight pants. And it was a photo concept where her backside was repurposed multiple times in the photo. Making it a collage of her backside in one photo. Highly suggestive.
  14. This is just an effed up situation. Someone told me that if you saw what she posted that day on IG, you can see how this issue may have escalated or what may have caused the issue with her phone. Just walk away Mickey. It wasn't worth it man.
  15. It's the pissing off the crap stains for me. Also, 750.
  16. This entire thing is driving me nuts. I am only saying this to you all to get to........750.
  17. I think pressure played a part. He was talked into coming because I think deep down he was afraid of this outcome. He knew he wasn't ready or prepared for it, but the opportunity only comes once. Then, you tie that in with his personality type. The money, fame, and responsibility magnified the worst in him. And then you hear the stories right. He never had a solid plan for how Nebraska would improve. He had a horrible staff with him who were no good or could help. I will say something else and this is my hunch. When Trev got hired, he knew he was done, and if he didn't know right away, it became obvious to him before the season started. I think he sabotaged the program to get his large buyout. He forced Trev to do it before the clause. The onside was enough to fire him. Chinander was screwing up the defense to get fired and paid. I know that seems kind of nuts, but money speaks and I think they were done. Busch's quick turnaround told me it was an easier adjustment and Chinander knew it but why would he you know? Also, those two aren't cool anymore and thats crazy because Chinander was a groomsman in his wedding. Mickey and Trev know there were and still are toxic coaches on the staff. Chinander had a b!^@h fit over Ashley Williams committing because he wasn't recruiting him. He wanted Cameron Lendhardt, and Scott ended up pulling Ashley's offer and giving Cameron the green light. This caused a wedge.
  18. ahh yeah. I guess I imagine him now as more of the swimming in lakes, drinking before practice, swinging golf clubs wasted, and crashing into things for the last three years kind of coach.
  19. He can no longer attract talent there. NIL has affected everyone and it is going to kill off programs like ISU and the likes. It's happening to Northwestern if we are keeping it relevant to us.
  20. I agree he wouldn't, but I think he makes Nebraska bowl eligible in year one. His ceiling isn't insane by any means, but I think he raises our floor significantly and would do in one year what Scott couldn't do in two.
  21. On his 1.2 million dollar a year contract as WR coach, Associate HC, Passing game/ Recruiting Coordinator position at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
