I wouldn't say gone but the staff knew he was going to blow up and told him that he would after he committed. They are recruiting him hard and he loves Nebraska over the others. They're okay with him exploring and seeing other places. They want to make sure he wants to be at Nebraska and I think we have leverage with not really needing a ton of DB's and having good options aside from him. That said, if he signed he would finish as the top recruit in the class and would be a candidate to push to start next year. He's physically ready made.

It's going to be Nebraska vs Miami until signing day.
-
I think this visit pretty much indicates where he is going. Nebraska is close to home and has a comp for him currently playing, where as the others do not.
-
There's smoke that he is visiting this weekend.
-
He snuck in and visited yesterday.
-
I don't think he has a committable offer.
-
Big time. A day one contributor.

Major is an absolute take for me. He has legit size and is filled out already. He would be rated a little higher if he played closer to Orange County or Los Angeles.

2025 Spring Practice Notes - Wide Receivers and Tight Ends

There's a rumor floating around that Hardley Gilmore was kicked off the team. -
I think Nebraska will get back to getting elite backs again. I like Parker a lot and if they get Dezephen Walker, that would be a really good get. An elite back for the class if you will.

He should be an early enrollee and one that I would tab to play early and often wherever he goes.

Quinn Clark is going to pop up more and more in these visuals and posts. -
When Alabama comes calling, Fran Brown is going to be a problem.

Well kind of. The hope was that someone like Brock Knutson would be ready for this position but he may be a fringe D1 lineman for one reason or another. I think Gunnar could be a good LT, and I thought he played very well. But it seems that the staff wants him at RT for the next three years, which I see for him as well. Their biggest misses have been at LT and now they are focusing on high-upside guys at that position, with hoping they can outbid for one in the portal. The top HS LT's are not going to come here yet.

This room is going to make a major jump after spring. I also think one of the three young pups will play right away. This room will be fine and should be humming by Michigan.
-
Will be a major strength of the team and it's timed well. With so many teams in the BIG breaking in new QB's, we have an advantage. They're going to give Underwood hell.

The beautiful thing about this group is the growth that will take place from now until end of summer. Once guys get another round of workouts and conditioning, the athleticism and ability is going to crank up even more. -
He could be someone who just takes too long to be ready. I would consider it simply based on the fact that there are better IOL on the roster from his class.

I think winning solves that position, along with RB. We have a big year and some elite talent will get back filled. I just don't see us waiting on a young LT while Dylan is here. We will see how it plays out with Gunnar gets back because he may solve that issue going into '26.
-
Definitely not.

I think our staff is going to buy LT's for the next couple of years.

Visiting with Danny Odem next week.

I saw some of the clips with Grant Brix in it and you can just see that he needs a ton of development. He's definitely not a tackle and someone who can move well for that position. He needs at least two more years of development.
-
I am not big on his tape or understand the ranking. He's very stiff and doesn't move like a high-end WR prospect.
