  1. the tv shows are just for entertainment not real investigative work. Yea orbs don't excite me at all as they could be anything as pointed in previous posts. So i'll never submit one as evidence. Exactly. I dont mind sharing a video of an orb but thats the extent of itOur last case in Lincoln I spent roughly 20 minutes explaining why the Orbs the previous team caught werent gghosts. Had to take a camcorder and slap the carpet to show her how easily they could be created. lol I had to do something similar with my first sargent. He took a photo of a soldier resigning another 4 years in the Army. showed it to me as evidence as it was covered with orbs. I laughed and reminded him were in Iraq covered with sand and dust and the photo was taken outside.
  2. I have some videos that i'm working on probably won't post at all as they are short and no evidence captured unfortunately. I have one on youtube that's a hour long. It's from my investigation at the Villisca Axe Murder house in Iowa. If youtube wasn't banned at work i'd post a link. Or if someone here wants to find it and do it awesome. Just search for Paranormal L.I.G.H.T.S. at Villisca Axe Murder House. My Channel is Ryan's Paranormal Videos. In it you'll hear some evps we captured, spirit box responses, chimes that I don't remember hearing at all when in the house. But heard frequently during the video. A door slamming shut and some other evidence we caught.

  4. yea I agree with that. I'm a member of Paranormal L.I.G.H.T.S. we were lucky when we got in. We investigated the day of the funeral for Darwin the owner. We got to meet with Johnny very nice guy, but because of the situation we didn't take to much of their time so they can be with friends and Darwins family to grieve.
  5. what group are you in? I agree I've investigated the Villisca Axe Murder house. It's overwhelming and I can't stop thinking of it. Im cofounder of G.R.I.P. Theres a link on my profile to our fb page if you want to take a gander. As for the charge to visit, yeah its oitrageous. They are making an absolute killing, no pun intended, almost every night. It is literally booked solid for months straight. If they were truly in it for the research it woildnt be like that. I understand the cost of owning a building like this but the profits have to be unreal. oh absolutely. Granted they have bills and employees but only 2 that I think of the grounds keeper who lives next door and is a very nice guy. Then the museum worker who also showed us around town and the house.
  6. The whole idea of the Villisca house creeps me out. Not because of anything paranormal . . . but because you can (apparently) earn money by charging people for the right to sleep in a house where an entire family was brutally murdered. the charging I agree. but i'd love to go back.

  8. How about replace them with this. The calls will still be bad. But at least they'd be worth looking at.
  9. I wouldn't doubt it Johnson's character was in question as he had some scandals. Which from what I understand the Texas tour was to help restore his credibility to the public and to his home state.
  10. Answer IMO, single gunman, PROBABLY Lee Harvey Oswald (and thus lucky shot) Who was behind it? Answer IMO, LBJ. Classical cover up. In my 3rd grade gym class activity, my principal was announced JFK was shot and killed. I always remember that. Your not the only one even Richard Nixon thinks Johnson was behind it.
  11. Single gunman. Lee Harvey Oswald acting alone. That's my guess. There are plenty of other possibilities but sometimes the simplest explanation is the right one. Hell of a lucky shot, though. With a crappy rifle. On a road with an S turn. From guy who tested "marksman", which is the lowest score one can have to stay in the Marines. not to mention shooting at a target moving left to right and away from you with him moving and waving makes it a very difficult shot. I don't think Oswald did it. I'm 33 so obviously wasn't there, my opinion is only from seeing the footage of the day. I've seen a lot of shows about this over the last 2 weeks on history channel. Some things have really stuck out with me. With the news footage of the day they found the gun and arrested Oswald. The policeman interviewed held up the gun found in the Texas Book Depository saying "This is the gun found in the Book Depository. The president was shot with a weapon like this." With him saying like this tells me it's not the murder weapon just similar to it. Now that could be just a slip in speech but just stuck out with me. In one of the shows was playing news footage of the day. They interviewed a school teacher that day and kept referring to her as the lady in red. They showed her standing in the grassy area in-between the roads to Kennedy's left. She stated and according to her family said this till the day she died. That she heard 6 shots fired, not sure if she said from which direction. Those two details could be minor and with emotions going just not be accurate recollection of the events. But then again I don't know these people at all. They may have been displaying a similar rifle not the actual one and heard 6 shots. But the one thing that makes me think he wasn't shot by the Oswald. Cause if he was, Kennedy would move forward as he was hit. But watching the footage he moves backwards. Which if Oswald shot him then he would move against the bullet as he's hit. Which that doesn't happen.
  12. That's what really bothers me with this. Shawn when hired stated if we don't know his name then he has done his job. Well in times like this you have to say something to put the rumors to bed. Florida has done that with Muschamp, why can't we do that with Bo? Even if Shawn doesn't like the media attention. Then just put out a simple statement in the paper or Harvey get on tv and support Bo. We all know he loves the camera lol.
  13. Mike Gundy? No way. No way. No way. He's at his alma mater, and has T Boone Pickens as his disposal. No. Just, no. I don't think he would leave either. Just thought it was interesting that he was even mentioned
  14. on 93.7 the ticket in Lincoln. They were talking about names mentioned for replacing Bo. The one name I heard while on lunch was Mike Gundy out of OSU. I didn't hear the entire conversation but was talking about how he's mentioned interest and how he would fit within the program, if we could even lure him away from OSU.
  15. The obvious answer is that they don't have any more home games. I thought of that at first but seemed odd to schedule last 2 - 4 of season as away games.
  16. so anyone want to start a pool on how many more championships get added? lol Seriously though. If they just started that then where will they play their remaining home games?
  17. Is this a half time activity? All I ever see are the marching bands.... we have a loving dick-measuring contest here at good ole nu. If this happens at Memorial stadium. Then i'm very happy to watch the games at home now lol.
  18. I don't know if these are the stats you were thinking of. But these are the stats I gathered and compiled. The first thing I looked at is the overall win loss records for each conference combined. 1. SEC 64 - 36 2. ACC 58 - 34 3. BIG 53 - 28 4. Pac12 53 - 29 5. MAC 42 - 54 6. Big 12 39 - 25 7. MWC 38 - 43 8. Con. USA 38 - 54 9. AAC 31 - 32 10. Sunbelt 26 - 29 I then calculated the win percentage. 1. Big 10 65.43% 2. Pac 12 64.53% 3. SEC 64% 4. ACC 63.04% 5. Big 12 60.94% 6. AAC 49% 7. Sunbelt 47.27% 8. MWC 46.91% 9. MAC 43.75% 10. Independent 42.86% 11. Conf. USA 41.30% I then went and calculated the ooc opponents win loss records. Also the percentage of those ooc games were FCS opponents. 1. MAC 176 - 135 2. Independent 173 - 145 3. Conf. USA 165 - 136 4. AAC 148 - 118 5. ACC 133 - 145 6. SEC 130 - 124 7. Pac 12 127 - 110 8. MWC 122 - 111 9. BIG 118 - 149 10. Sunbelt 117 - 115 11. Big 12 99 - 124 Also the percentages of those ooc games that were FCS opponents 1. Sunbelt 47.62% with 10 games FCS 2. Pac 12 27.03% with 10 games FCS 3. Big 12 26.67% with 8 games FCS 4. ACC 25.58% with 11 games FCS 5. MWC 24.39% with 10 games FCS 6. MAC 23.08% with 12 games FCS 7. BIG 21.74% with 10 games FCS 8. AAC 20.51% with 8 games FCS 9. SEC 19.51% with 8 games FCS 10. Independent 12.24% with 6 FCS 11. Conf. USA 11.32% with 6 FCS I noticed 3 things out of this doing this. 1. SEC doesn't have the best win loss percentage despite playing more games so far. With each loss not affecting the stats as much. 2. SEC is thought of playing a lot of FCS schools. Even though these stats shows results through games 10/24 SEC is near the bottom of FCS games played. They do still have some left but shouldn't move them much further up the chart than maybe midway. 3. I have way to much time on my hands. All of the information I used to gather this info. Came from ESPN. Out of curiosity I have started on 2012's results but havn't completed them as of yet.
  19. the less-coordinated plan kinda bothers me. But seeing how I have no idea how little or much effort they put into. Doesn't give me the ability to complain about it, just stuck out with me.
  20. Since we don't know exactly who wrote the Gospels, it's rather hard to say they were killed for writing them, isn't it? Well, if Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter and Paul didn't write them, I'll bet they were pissed at whoever did. Because most of them got killed for it. (John didn't.) or the real reason they were killed and john wasn't, was lost in translation over the years. But yes i'm sure they would be if that was the case.
  21. Agree with this. And knowing someone will assuredly chip in with the inevitable recitation of harms wrought in the name of religion throughout history (and we all know this has happened, and will happen again), the fact is that these wrongs are a misuse of religion, not the intended purpose. That makes religion no more at fault than the spoon I use to murder 100 people. Misusing the spoon doesn't mean the spoon is bad. Oh I agree there is always going to be evil and wrong doing in the world. They will always grasp at straws to find a reason to support what they are doing. Religion would be a safe bet to be the most popular reason that's used.

  23. We'll probably never know if Jesus or God even exist until we pass on from this life, who knows maybe not even then. I to have a hard time believing the story the bible tells. I see it kinda like the movie Forrest Gump. You can prove a lot of the events told in story are true and happened. Such as people being crucified and other events in the bible. But you can't prove the main character is true. But if it's true or not religion is a good thing. It provides a sense of belonging, security, guidance, strength, courage and hope to those who do believe or partially believe the story. So I wouldn't be upset if it's never proven to be true, but hope it's never proven to be false.
  24. how about we ban Iowa football as it's disrespectful to Cyclones, Hawks and humanity.
  25. I prefer the debt not be as high or no debt at all. But I do see it as a necessary evil. They do spend and waste a lot of money. But a lot of it is for a good cause. Cause with out the government spending the way it is our military for example wouldn't be the size, trained or equipped the way they are today. I know it's just one example to support the government spending but it's an important one. I'm sure there are others that would justify the debt as well. But I don't think the entire debt can be justified, some changes do need to be made.
