It is always nice to see a Husker do well in the NFL....especially what he has gone through and how he has become the player he was here.

The fact is that this is not a new thing that football teams are doing. The NFL receivers are all getting taller and yes that is b/c the college receivers are getting taller (obviously). If we were to look at every position in the past 10 years the players are all getting bigger and bigger. The game has been changing and the athletes are bigger, faster, and stronger.

Who was actually the last QB from Nebraska to play QB in the NFL??? Was it Vince Ferragamo??? I just don't see how Crouch thought he would make it in the NFL as a QB. Go and play DB like Frost and be happy you were given the OPPORTUNITY to play in the NFL. and hopefully more to come!!!

Well, if he does stick it out I am sure he will be successful. Maybe he will turn into the next Doug Flutie and make a come back to the NFL if he proves that he can play the position in a higher level. Good luck Crouch!!!

YIKES!!!!! IMO it does not matter who is coaching whose recruits. You still have to discipline and watch over the athletes to make sure they are doing their job in the classroom. To say that the only reason some of these kids made the grades they did was b/c they are drunken Frank's recruits is absolutely INSANE! Get a grip and get a life. Frank is gone and will NEVER be back. The new MAN is in charge and if you don't like it, get the hell out of Husker Nation!!!!

I agree with you both that there is no way having us lose that game. I was just posing the question if that would have been a reviewable play.

I like this idea. Hopefully it will help with some of the "human error" that occurs on the field in certain games. What do you think they would have said about the bowl game this year??? Cannot challenge??

I wouldn't jump the gun too quickly on trying to get those games.......

It is just going to be one more option for the Huskers to beat a team. Since we didn't use them as much towards the end of the season, we may be able to surprise a couple of teams (i.e. USC). Taylor will be just fine.

Practices could get pretty intense this spring and during fall camp. It will only make them all better football players. Having to look over your shoulder will help push the starters to not make many mistakes.

The kids usually have their offers made to them well before the signing day and then the recruiter will just call them to verify/confirm on signing day. There is no way to stop the poaching. It is the dirty game of recruiting and the kids just eat it up. I agree with you 100% Hunter that the families and kids love to see their name in the paper about some controversy of signing with a team and then backing out for some lame-a$$ excuse.

Live in the present former....everytime a thread is started you and some of your troll buddies just try to throw jabs in about the past. Anyways, I think that 9-3 is very attainable. I just hope the players don't get wrapped up into playing USC and Texas....one game at a time and enjoy winning and learn from the losses.
