  1. Crockpot Roast Beef: This is really good for making in the Crockpot. I prefer to bake one in the oven, but, for using a Crockpot, this is really good. I do use a different recipe though when I bake a roast in the oven. Haven't tried using this recipe when baking a roast in the oven. 1 Packet Brown Gravy Mix 1 Packet Italian Seasoning 1 Packet Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix 1-1/2 Cups Water Or Beef Broth ***I Use Beef Broth 2-3 lbs. Chuck Roast Or Your Favorite Type Of Roast Sliced Onions-Garlic-Sliced Fresh Mushrooms-(Opt.) Place roast in Crockpot. Add onions, garlic and sliced fresh sliced mushrooms, if using. Put all seasoning packets on top; pour water or beef broth around the roast. Cook on low for 10-12 hours. ***Stir the seasonings/beef broth every few hours as it cooks; optional.

  12. I called my uncle who was 93 years old on Christmas Eve and I am so glad I did. I couldn't understand him when he talked to me and I talked to the nurse that was in his room and it wasn't good news. I called his son and left a message. His son called me yesterday and told me his dad had passed away at 6:00 the next morning. We are very close..it is very nice to have 1 member of my family who will talk to me and love me. Then at 1:00 am. in the morning...we heard our neighbors dogs barking up a storm. I was so exhausted and thought since they are outside dogs, that they were just cold from it raining outside. My hon got up to check and had a flashlight and their dogs were killing a kitten. So after yelling..their son came out and my hon told him what was going on..to make a long story short..the kitten was full of mud..we brought the kitten in our house..he is safe here. I am exhausted and will post recipes when I feel up to it..need some time.
  13. Merry Xmas to you all:) Hope you all have a Happy New Year too:)
