That was a good article, and thanks for sharing. One thing I didnt quite understand. Why enroll in JUCO this January? Couldn't Braylon continue attempting to get the ACT score he needs and enroll at NU in June or August? He could feel like just getting on with it. It has got to be quite stressfull, and I wouldn't blame him if he just wanted it to be over with. Just wondering if he could get his score this spring and enroll in the fall or if he had to go JUCO to gain elligibility.

I am excited about Wayne Lyons. I dont think it is a coincidence that Turene decided to visit along with Lyons. I am hoping Lyons is recruiting the Miami area for NU.

If it happens, like you said it's because he didn't come her to be a RB coach forever. I think the decision would be more about keeping him, than about finding the best guy for this job. This offense is in serious need of new, young blood IMO. Beck might be able to do that. I wouldn't be entirely upset if they gave him a chance at it. But, if Watson goes, then Barney and Gilmore need to go as well, because getting rid of Watson, and not allowing the next OC to put together a staff isn't fair to the next guy. It will be the same ol' sh!t. It's not like Watson got a chance to build his own staff...but that ship has sailed. The next guy MUST have that opportunity. Who exactly would fire Cotton and Gilmore? Tim Beck who has coached with them for the last 3 years or Bo Pelini who is ultimately responsible for the defense, offense, and entire team? I agree that if Wats were to leave Tim Beck would become OC. I just dont see him becoming OC and then being allowed to fire anyone.

For the last time - Gary Crowton from LSU. I cant see Crowton moving from OC at LSU to OC at NU. LSU hasnt exactly been great offensively any way.

Jeff Jagodzinski coached with Bo at Green Bay for 3 seasons in 2000-2002.

I will get enjoyment out of randomly selecting people who have coached with Bo. Chuck Long current OC Kansas.

Scott Frost has played under Bill Walsh, Tom Osborne, and Bill Parcels. That is pretty impressive. He is coaching at a hot Oregon program. I am not a fan of Scott Frost for OC, and I dont think it will happen. Do you really think Bo would run a fast break offense?

Nice post. If NU can run between the tackles they win the game. We have been pretty good at doing this for the most part this year. OU has been gashed at times by teams that will commit to running between the tackles all year long. I am thinking of Air Force, MU, and TX A&M. I like this matchup.

I agree with you on Robinson, he is deserving of some carries. Rex is Rex and I expect to see Aaron Green getting some carries. I really think we need another back in this class. I think Jones, Ward, and Okafor are all dogs. If they were good enough they would have gotten carries last year. I would like to see more depth at the RB position. I see it as only 3 deep with a true frosh. One injury makes the situation really thin. I dont know if Heard will make it, I hope he will. It is tricky situation waiting on Heard and trusting him to get the grades. Wouldnt mind seeing a JUCO back. Time will tell.

Well put, I will miss the Big8 a lot and the Big12 a little. I think NU got the golden ticket that was meant for Notre Dame. Any member of the Big8 would have picked up that ticket.
