  1. I 2nd that. Make that three of us. Same feeling I had before the Washington, KState, Okie State, and Mizzou games. On the flipside had a way different feeling for the SDSU and KU games. I am thinking Skers +13 at least.
  2. Remember Ubben is a Texan/Oklahoman/Missourian reporter in the past and add in the mix he's an Arkansas native, so idiocracy is just embedded in his genes. Now to the thread. I also am in the boat that it isn't a slam on Dennard at all. More of questioning the ssafeties and LB's chances of covering the Aggie slot receivers. I love our secondary against anyone in the nation. The only overly concerning matchups would be Swope, with his speed against Haag(not so much)/Osbourne/Cassidy and if they put Fuller in the slot and he is matched up on Gomes(big size mismatch). Those are minimum concerns and any type of a pass rush showing up easily eases any thoughts of an Aggie passing attack.
  3. New day, same result, no suprise. How many people would have threw down money the last couple of years on a bet that Ryan Anderson would ve the most missed player after graduating?
  4. Just saw this. That is awesome. God is telling people that this game should never have been thought about playing in Wrigley. This is fail in EPIC PORPORTIONS. I love it.
  5. Damn you cacti, taking my thunder. Good choice though, I would've taken NU this week, but used them for the win last week
  6. I hope everyone doesn't think that I mean any disrespect to Bouzos. Ok so if there is no possible way that Bouzos greyshirts, who on that commit list is a possible greyshirt to make more room now? Jake cotton?? Cotton is already here. How about Dylan Admire???
  7. Remember Oklahoma was seriously starting to hit up Aaron right as he committed to Nebraska. Obviously Bo wasn't the only coach in America that saw a lot of potential in this kid. Definitely could see him moving up the rankings when he is re-evaluated after his senior year by the services. The only thing that could hold himback in my eyes was the tweeked knee early in the season. He will not greyshirt. I do not see Davie greyshirting either. With his background being from Detroit, who knows what the families financial situation is. If they asked him to greyshirt, I easily can see him jumping ship and taking a full ride and playing time right away at a lower level. Again not saying he will, but can see it happening. Yikes. And thus the poor black kid from Detroit stereotypes commence. Figured someone would go this route with that. I wasn't going there, believe he even said his dad worked in the auto industry and got layed off when the whole automotive industry was crashing and burning. So that was the situation that I was trying to paint and probably should have referenced, but not the poor black route that you took it as.
  8. Blaze, I hate doing it, but when I was in college and was a poor student athlete odds makers made it easy. The spreads that NU was giving up at home back in the Solich era were rediculous. I couldn't resist, and last Saturday was one of those spreads. However, it never overly broke my heart the two or three times I missed and DONU covered.
  9. Ya know it.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-PekYHpdrs One of the greatest stripping songs EVER
  10. Sorry irie, no matter how beautiful your state is, this visit has to be purely recreational for him. Does Hawaii even have TE's on their roster, because I have rarely ever seen them even use them. A lovely warm trip in December from the tropical eden of Ohio, come on. The kid should be in after he sees through the baby blue picture that Butch paints for him that covers up the impending hammer from the NCAA for lack of institutional control. Hello..... Big Ten we'll be in your backyard kid.

  12. Are you watching TCU this year? Or did you just see highlights of the SDSU comeback after the game was in hand(a SDSU team the SHOULD have beaten Mizzou)? TCU is solid and probably would give any Top Ten team a hell of game and win more than they'd lose. All this Boise and TCU shouldn't play for the BCS is BS. These are not flash in the pan schools having a miracle year(BYU)m but established programs. Let them get in the title game, and if they get rick rolled I will forever shut up on this issue.
  13. Damn this just destroyed my dream of seeing Harrison Barnes hanging half a hundred on Doc's boys. OK, I knew there was no way in hell for a NU UNC matchup. But to the game. Again this team fails to make free throws. Nothing new. Again this team went freezing cold from the outside. Nothing new. Again this team played well for 20 minutes, and then tanked with one of their usual 8 minute FG-less streak. Nothing new. Again the turnovers. Nothing new. I thought that when Doc was hired he said he loved to get "up and down the floor, pressure the ball the length of the floor, for the whole game." Now at times the roster hasn't allowed this(slightly BS), but when it did, he didn't utilize this option(like when we threw the smallest team in the nation out on the floor every night). Now I love Doc's personality but this is another failed attempt to make this team relevent. I don't know who could be the miracle worker, but something needs to be shown this year. And YES I agree with those who are sick of the "not practicing well excuse" play the damn best players and give yourself a chance. And I was ridiculed for wanting Bob Huggins, but things aren't looking this bleak down in Manhattan these days are they.
  14. Here's your go bold or go home for ya.... Va Tech giving 2.5 on the road at Miami. Lock it
  15. Are you Scott Downing trying to get your old recruiting coordinator job back? You are, aren't you!! What to soon for the find new employment for Scott Downing jokes?
  16. Cotton is higher than holiday. I believe it is the highest non bcs bowl for the b12. And this year they changed the pecking order so the holiday is lower than the Alamo. Which is a friggin joke. Runner up in the Pac 10 or the fifth place Big Ten team?
  17. So nuance got me wondering.... OK here are some stats for ya'll. Bo Pelini's record, all games, as head coach(including the Alamo Bowl vs MSU) is 29-9. But let's break it down a little further. On even numbered days Bo is 13-3 a .813 percentage. On odd days Bo is 16-6 a .727 percentage. Bo is 21-6 against schools with some form of a animal as a mascot(Iowa State included for their old stupid cardinal/twister thing logo). Bo is 8-3 against schools with some form a person as their mascot. And the topper Bo is 5-0 on even numbered days on the road. Hey A&M is on the road on the 20th. HEY HEY!!!!
  18. On Big Red Wrap-Up just now, Sean Callahan just said through his "sources" that Stafford will not be going to USC at all and believes he will still be a Husker. Take it for what the lisps worth.
  19. Auburn has had its fair share of downs this year during games, but like a good team overcame and prevailed.
  20. Well it looks like that could be a really great day or one that we'll want to forget. But if they decide not to go with us, at least we have about a month to seal the deal on other guys. Historically these AA decisions haven't gone our way, but it will be a really great day regardless. We haven't had this much representation at the AA game in a long time. Remember there are a number of juniors there as well. Nebraska's name is becoming more prominent at events like this. That can only benefit us. This is the most recruits NU has had in the Army AA game since Clownahan's first full year recruiting class. Suh, Piccou, Roark, Marlon, Congdon, and maybe one more all played that year. The only announcer that spurned NU that I recall also occured that year, with one Nyan Boatang. Damn I really wanted that kid just for his name alone, Good to see he has succeeded every institution he has been to.
  21. Makes the door open that much more for Mr. Wayne Lyons. And I don't believe that it is as big of a long shot as some may be saying.
  22. So if the ball lands in the basket it is a field goal? Like it's a homer in baseball. Seriously why do this. That is hallowed ground that you are screwing with. Plus as a die hard Cubbie, it is bad enough watching my crappy team play there 80+ days out of the year but now these two history strapped football dumps get to disappoint those in the seats in November. Come on. The hockey game was too much, this pushes me over the top. And for good measure I will add f*** you Ricketts family. Only you and that fat toad could screw things uplike this. By the way Ryno also sends his f*** you.
  23. "to the endzone...and purify...touchdown" That drive and game in general was awesome. Who had Dan Erikson as drive savior in that game? Anyone? That game was almost like the trip before that down in College Station when David Horne went ape in the fourth quarter to rally for the win. The other thing that sticks out in my head about the "Drive" game, was in the first quarter Cody Glenn let out a huge F Bomb that the TV caught after his TD.
