  1. Our last great DT was too. You may be onto something here. Maybe we should start recruiting Brazil
  2. Regardless of the outcome tomorrow, can Missouri wear those uniforms with that bada$$ all black helmet? Are those the Nike Pro Combat Revolution Uniforms? Even though I hate Missouri, those are some sweet looking uniforms.
  3. You know, during the UT game they kept showing a couple plays where Acho burned Sirles. But Acho only ended up with 2 assisted tackles and one solo (including 1 tfl). Surprisingly low stats. But it's hard to say how many times Acho got through Sirles but didn't get in on the play. WTF!! I didn't know Sirles was injured. /pulls straight razor out of desk. Considers slitting wrists. They showed him being helped off the field sometime during the second half and Yoshi stepped in and played for the rest of the game, I think. I've looked around and haven't been able to find anything about the injury, so maybe he's okay.
  4. Is Sirles still injured, or is he expected to play this week? If he does play, I don't expect him to have as big of a problem against Smith as he did Acho.. I remember watching a couple of plays where Acho just flat out leveled him at the LOS.
  5. I dunno. If--er--when we beat this defense we might face a better one in the CCG. Even though OU is ranked lower in ncaa total defense stats, they might actually have a better D than Mizzou. And then there's the bowl game. We've been told all week how OU's D really isn't that great, so which is it? We'll let you know after we face them in the CCG. Boom.
  6. I'm a Premier League fan..love watching those matches and it helps that a lot of those games get shown on ESPN channels. It's always fun to watch games, I'm a Man U fan, my friend is a Chelsea fan, and another friend is an Arsenal fan. Things can get pretty heated at times. Chelsea seems to be tearing it up, so far...unfortunately.
  7. I'm glad he's here, too. I'll take a guy with less talent, but works hard over a guy with more talent, but doesn't work hard. Yoshi has busted his @$$ to get where he's at right now. I respect the heck out of the kid. Glad he's a husker, the dude looks HUGE!
  8. My favorite Missouri memory is the Crouch run, when he was about to get sacked in the end zone and then took it all the way to the house.
  9. Double major in Chemistry and Biology.. (I think I had it coming)
  10. Even though I have three tests, four quizzes, two papers, and three homework assignments all due next week... I'll be there! ..studying before and after the game, of course ..
  11. If everybody is suspended, then you are too. So then no one would win, including you. That being said, I win. Did I mention that I make the rules?
  12. Everybody is suspended for one weeks worth of posting because of hitting the keyboard with the crown of your helmet. Due to forfeits and non-participation..I win. Sorry
  13. I'm excited for Tyler Moore. This guy had an impressive list of offers but chose Nebraska---very early if I remember correctly. I'm excited to see him develop at the next level.
  14. You have an argument about us being careless with the ball, because we are. However, your team will have to translate those turnovers into points against our defense. Good luck.
  15. You, obviously, have never seen a Missouri walnut bowl. That's a fine looking bowl right there.
  16. Those are all really solid reasons. I could have made a list like that before the Texas game though, and yet... thats true also. couple of differences though, NE had a major issue before that game with putting the ball on the ground and the continued to do so against TX. And hands have been a question for your WR (given, mostly for Paul) but those things came to the front to cost you in that game. MU doesnt have faults like that. With that said though, as a Tiger fan I can tell you it would not be the first time they pee'd down their leg if it happens. I think the biggest reason if a loss comes your way this Saturday isn't because of your players, but because of Pinkel. You guys always have good ball players at the skill positions, but over the past 9 years Pinkel has gone 67-46 (.593) overall and 36-36 (.500) in Big 12 play. I think we come out on top, but only because of the coaching staffs. I think ours will make the needed adjustments, just like we did against Oklahoma State last week, and will (hopefully) slow down the Tigers. Missouri is a team I love to hate, but here's to hoping for a great game this Saturday! That record has to be taken into context. If you just lay it out there your think Pinkel sucks. However, when you compare it to the previous 9 seasons for MU you see its not bad at all. 40-61-1 (.392) and 23-44 (.343) in big 12/8 play. Then when you look at what he has done since able to lay the ground work and started to really build it gets even better. Just looking over the last 5 1/2 seasons since he started to really turn it around, 05-present, he is 52-21 (.722) and 27-16 (.627) in conference. Over that last 3 1/2 he is 37-11 (.771) and 19-8 (.703) in conference. Eh, since 2005 Missouri's Big 12 record has been: 2005: 4-4 (2nd) 2006:4-4 (2nd) 2007:7-1 (1st) 2008:5-3 (1st) 2009:4-4 (2nd) With the exception of one year (a heck of a year at that), Pinkel only has an average record, at best, in conference play. If you go back further, it gets much worse than that. That being said, I still think that Missouri is going to give us fits. SDSU put up 250 rushing yards on the ground against them, but almost 160 of those came off of two runs. If you take away those two long runs, the 90 yards on the ground is right around their average rushing yards/game they give up. They shut down the Illinois QB by putting a spy on him, which is most likely what we're gonna be seeing from them on Saturday to take away the zone read option. I'm curious as to what Tigers fans think. If Bo and our coaching staff start making adjustments, do you have faith in Pinkel to make adjustments to our adjustments?

  18. I'd like to see it as well. Anybody have any links? Nexus?
  19. I have a sister and brother-in-law coming to their first Husker game this Saturday. I was planning on taking them around the stadium and showing them around the new 'Nebraska Experience' room and all of the new renovations that they've done recently. I checked out the Visitor's Guide that's online and it said that they don't have any free, guided tours on gameday, but does anybody know if it's open to the fans to go in and walk around? Also, does anybody know where exactly the room with all of the Heisman trophies and other awards is at? I'd love to see that and take them with me. Thanks for any input!
