So...we played pretty tough against an MSU team that beat Stanford and probably could've contended for the natty. Are we closer than we thought talent wise to most programs than people thought? Also, no smiling next year, guys. Some people don't like it (fun).

  Auburn was 2 fluke plays from having 3 losses and not even being in the NC conversation. Yet, they were 1 or 2 plays last night from winning it all.

  That is more what I was trying to get to, I guess I should've made this a post. The next step is - if we have the talent in place, shouldn't that mean with the right coaching we should be able to make the next leap to competing? Couldn't it be a one year process (look at Auburn for instance, but they were MUCH WORSE than us, but got a top shelf HC)
