Watch his game film, I'm not that impressed. Great offer list though. I think DT is one of the hardest positions to evaluate on a recruit. This is of his senior year and I see some good things, he'll be tough to move off the line and plug up the middle.

He's down to Tennessee, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, (and of course) Arkansas. He wants to talk to the coaching staff at Tennessee to see what he's getting himself into with a new DC. He said Nebraska is definitely a school he is considering, the visit impressed him while he was here. His HS coach stays in contact with Arkansas and a few of his former teammates were recruited by them. McNeil's biggest concern is building a bond with the coaching staff, and go to a program where he feels at home.

Ron Brown doesn't think Zimmerer can cut it at FB and thinks Marrow is a big body, but is more of a RB. We are pushing for Powell bad, but Colorado and Washington are as well.

So you're saying we aren't far off yet have a team of average players. Do you think that getting a team of all-conference players happens over night then? We are a long ways off for the reason you just mentioned. Not to mention we're guaranteed yo get out coached 2-3 times a year. That didn't happen in the big 12 north, it will n big 10. We lose 1 offensive player. So last time I checked overall we can't get worse here. Defensively we lose our 2 best players, but get 9 players back ( I don't count Cassidy). Getting Zaire and Mo is huge. You don't think Abdullah, Bell, Turner, young solid offensive line, Martinez, Taariq Allen, and few good DTs won't be better than the team we have now?

Our program is nowhere near light years behind. People overreact after every loss and it is hilarious. You need to be honest with yourself about the players on the team. Average players don't win conference titles and most of the kids we have are average. Promising future on the team IMO

Our D Line is a bunch of average players. Period. Offensively we can't have Martinez play the conservative role, it will never work. Quit playing unskilled players like Thorell, Cassidy, Marlowe, and Kinnie. ---Main thing that lost us the game was the 2nd qtr meltdown when Abdullah fumbled, Maher missed FG, and hail mary TD. Should have been 23-9 Nebraska, yet it was 16-13 SC.
