Bo won't leave the starters in to run the score up... Which is fine by me. Unless it's texas. THEN you can run up the score on purpose. I would be okay with that.

We do nothing fancy in this game. I think Burkehead gets six on a pass. A LB will have to match him in coverage and get burned bad.

The "key-jingle" is an important piece to increase sound decibels within the stadium. I really wish those blue hairs (and younger folks too) that refuse to stand up and yell for our D would at least give their keys a jingle. The shoe thing has been around a long time and I am pretty sure that was not a nebraska born tradition. as far as traditions go, look no further than the blackshirts. You can also touch on staff continuity in the glory years, offensive line play, WALKONS, and tons of other good stuff.

Tune up game. I want to see some 2nd and 3rd stringers early and often. The worst thing that can happen in this game is a major injury

Absolutely ridiculous how stacked we are. They are all great in their own right so it's almost impossible to pick one. I too have been thinking all along that Dennard is gone after this year. He is going end up with a killer highlight reel and some great stats this year, plus he will be able to go out on top with a B12 Champ/Natl Champ.

I think it's safe to say they already are. Although I may be slightly biased, but I watch a lot of football and there aren't many that are as consistent and productive as these two right now.

Hagg was back in a play or two. Just had the wind knocked out of him. Absolutely STELLAR pass breakup. If anyone has a picture of that please post. I don't think we had any glaring losses... thank goodness after that fall camp.

STUD Big, physical, blocks well, pretty good speed, HOLDS ON TO THE BALL, and best of all - He is still a Junior. This is the prototype receiver for this offense. Give me 3 Kinnie's on the field and we will be on our way friends.

I wouldn't say this is a huge miss. I too want Green, but I also have high hopes for Braylon Heard (assuming things go as planned and he makes it here for spring ball). For what this offense is becoming, we really need a couple GOOD RB's joining our team this year. One thing that is obvious - Depth Chart: 1a.Helu 1b.Burkehead . . . . . . 2.Robinson 3. Jones . . 4.Ward

I think a more realistic goal would be all conf... but that may even be a reach. On a side not, I think 10-15 carries a game is PERFECT for Helu.

One note on the Run D... I wonder how much can be attributed to the inexperience at LB?

I had that same feeling going into this game. But now even more so going into the B12. I love these coaches, and I think Bo will not let these guys lose focus when we get into the meat of our schedule.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves...I'm not going to say we smash them, as they could give us a great game. But I want Texus undefeated coming to Lincoln either way.
