  1. His weight doesn't matter. Remember Terrell Farley? He was really lightweight for a LB and that's who David reminds me of. Or was he a safety? Or did he have no position name? Anyway, that's what David could be.
  2. I wish the lion had won. I'm not sure why but I feel like killing predators like that is far more offensive than killing deer. Probably because there are a 100,000 deer/predator and it's unfair that you can kill this magnificent animal by moving your finger. Okay, that was my rant for the month.
  3. That's what I'm doing right now But mostly because I had to miss the first hour of the game.
  4. great article. I watched the Taylor Martinez interview. There's something endearing about his interviews. When people ask stupid questions (and most of them are stupid) he gives them the answers they deserve. I know he's not purposely being that way but I like that he doesn't try to stretch out the answer just to sound good. "How explosive is your offense?" "As you guys can see it's pretty explosive." Dumb question deserves "dumb" reply. 90% of the questions he's asked, anyone who watched the game could answer. Pretty much all of them can be summed up like this: "What happened on that play?" "I ran real fast-like"
  5. O.o he did get benched, and then Green came in and wasn't better. If you're implying Martinez should have replaced him, they didn't know he was good at QB until they put him in that position on the scout team, and it's not really fair to redshirt someone and then have them come in and play in the middle of the season and miss 1/8th of their cfg career because of it.
  6. A team will come along that learns to have 1 or 2 players just shadow him. Someone should be tackling him every play whether he has the ball or not, imo. And that should open it up for the RB.
  7. I don't know if you're going by scores but the UCLA one is deceiving, as far as their defense is concerned. UCLA had 291 yards. Texas outgained them. IIRC 2 of the touchdowns were from turnovers inside the Texas 20, but I might be remembering wrong. I'm still confident we'll do well, but it will be more of a challenge. I'm not too worried about Texas's offense though.
  8. I hate the nickname too. Actually, it would be cool if he was just called Taylor Martinez.
  9. Gomes was about a half second away from one in the second half. It's amazing when you see a team actually throw it to Amukamara, it's like he's part of the other guy's jersey.
  10. I think it's because Lee is a senior, which I know sounds stupid. But Lee has also had way more practice running the offense in game situations than Green had. I'm not saying that means he doesn't need practice, but I think they're trying to get Green more experience because he has less, and he'll be around for more than 4 more months.
  11. I'm a lady, so I would complain, but I don't want to fire it up. And you can't stop me from not firing it up. So, take that!
  12. I'm glad you posted this after the hating post, 'cause I agree with this, not the other. (Except when it comes to Colorado and Texas )
  13. He's a Nebraska running QB. No way in hell would he leave early. There would be nothing in it for him.
  14. I've always liked the team and Snyder. It's the fans I don't like.
  15. This is it. I can't see Iowa State being that bad. I've never sensed a lot of hate in that series. That's basically it. I can't see Texas A&M and Oklahoma State being all that pissed. Missouri would have been the worst.
  16. Wait, what? We're going 0-8 in Big 12 play? Way to have confidence in the squad, Tom. I wonder if he mispoke or they actually typed it wrong on purpose
  17. I sort of wish we had just stayed the Big 8. But, I'm too excited about the Big 10 to care for more than a few seconds.
  18. I think it is called Martinez tendency to stare his way no matter what and not look at the whole field. That could just be me though. I agree that he does that, but I think there is a reason he's most comfortable with Kinnie.
  19. You already have specifics. 3 of the 4 quotes annoyed me. It's all "me me me, I deserve the ball more and I'm talented" Everyone else talks about the team. It's okay for him to be mad, but not to say these things to the press. you woefully misused quotes there. and i am not even sure you read the article. lol. I was not actually saying or implying that was a real quote. That was a summary of what he said. Maybe everything inside of the quotes was in white text for you, so I will paste them again here and show you that my summary was accurate: ^ this is the one that annoyed me the most. ^ this annoyed me because what he does with the ball in his hands is hand it off to the other team. He shouldn't be frustrated (or at least not talk to the media about it) if the team is getting yards and winning. That's all that should matter. Just look at Zac Lee for a good example of how someone should talk to the media.
  20. You already have specifics. 3 of the 4 quotes annoyed me. It's all "me me me, I deserve the ball more and I'm talented" Everyone else talks about the team. It's okay for him to be mad, but not to say these things to the press.
  21. and getting open. If Kinnie is the one getting most of the catches, there's a reason for it. It's not for some made up reason in Paul's head, that he's being ignored 'cause they're a bunch of meanies who aren't paying him enough attention.
