Well regardless of what you said, you were wrong, and that's what's important about my previous post. If your belief on this was off, maybe you should rethink your belief about putting money on the tiggers for this game...might not be up anymore. Actually....no, go ahead and put hundreds on Mizzou, I'll gladly win some of your money this Thursday. I'm not that big of a spender. I'll put some money on it....not hundreds. Please validate what I 'thought' I heard. Tyler wanted to be the only QB recruited in 2010. Serious question.....not flaming. By somebody saying that, I am thinking he doesn't want competition and wants the starting job handed to him in 2011 or 2012. He'll probably redshirt in 2010. And maybe start in 2011 or 2012. As for sitting behind Blaine for 3 years at Mizzou. He would only have to sit 1 year. Blaine is a sophomore now. Junior WHEN Tyler comes to Mizzou in 2010. Mizzou fans better appreciate Blaine while they can (just like Jeremy Maclin) because he's going to the NFL in the 2011 draft.

This could be a defining moment for Bo. Win in Columbia and turn the current tide that is swinging in Mizzou's favor. A win and it might be awhile before Mizzou beats Nebraska again. Possibly a Big XII North in 2009 if the Huskers don't screw it up too much. A loss on the other hand, could be disastrous. The Tigers aura would grow even larger and it would be increasingly difficult to beat them on a regular basis like you were used to in the 80's & 90's. I'm not trying to troll. Just stating the obvious. This thread started with Bo needing to beat Mizzou. It took exactly two posts before somebody said something about Mizzou's success/failure in 2009. I wanted to keep this thread on track.

This post just shows how infatuated you are with the Mizzou Tigers success! The thread was supposed to be about Bo really needing to beat MU and not go 0-2 against the Tigers in his regime and its implications on recruiting. It took, what.....2 posts to say that Mizzou is staring at a 3 loss streak? Tiger Nation is flattered.

You have to be able to do it the first time, to be able to do it to another. As of now, the first time hasn't happened yet.

Calling Pinkel a douchebag for arriving at the game in a helicopter? That's choice. I will echo what MUTigerFan said....moving around St. Louis on a Friday afternoon/evening is a friggin' nightmare. A helicopter is actually a smart move to see a couple of games with ease. As for Tyler and Nebraska. I wouldn't have agreed to his 'demand' that Nebraska recruit no other QB if he commits. Sounds kind of egotistical. Please tell me if what I heard was true or not. If not, I apologize, but I thought I read it in the local (Omaha) papers. As for Mizzou's QB's. We have several in the wings. On top of that, we have a 2010 recruit coming from Texas (Franklin) that is currently a 4 star and who has been touted as a 5 star by the end of season. The dude is a stud from what I have seen on the internet and articles I've read. If Tyler wants the challenge of becoming a starting college QB, then he would come to Mizzou. If he wants the job handed to him, he should probably stick to Nebraska.

I was at the Wal-Mart at 168th & Maple tonight. I can guarantee you I saw a lot worse than this and they were wearing Husker hats.

Somebody beat me to it. Duke hung up 2 TD's and 4 FG's on Virginia Tech. And don't say it was a garbage TD at the end. That brought them within 8. A recovered onside kick and a TD (2 pt conversion) away from a tie and OT. Ask Beamer if thta was a 'garbage' TD. But it didn't happen, so..... At least you guys got more FG's against VT than Duke did!

Just ask the following question to further explain the poll. Do you think the Husker football program will return to the form it exhibited in the 90's? Guys....just relax. I'm only asking a question. The loss last year to OSU was tough. I'm trying to remember how Pinkel cost them the game. That's all....nothing else. If it's okay to talk football, I'm curious if Pelini has his temper under control? He was a wildman on the sidelines at Nebraska, LSU and back at Nebraska again. I'm just asking a simple question.

I know Mizzou lost at home to Oklahomo State, but how did Pinkel cost them the game? On the flip side, at what point in time does Pelini blow a gasket and cost you guys a game? I think he got a few penalties last year. I know at least one against Virginia Tech.

He would NOT have made those remarks last October when the Tigers were in town and fans were filing out in DROVES and booing. I think you need to re-read his article and my first remark about it. The game he attended was: 300th sellout Homecoming retro week gorgeous weather and your team was shelling a nobody. All I'm stating is that he wouldn't have made the comment about the fans in the seats at the conclusion of the game if he was there for the Mizzou-Husker tilt last October. Why do you feel the need to go after every one of my posts, knapp? It WAS factual (because that's your hot button) It just dawned on me. I think the fans stayed to watch the end of the game, because they know they're not going to get too many more of these wins in 2009.

I don't have a problem with the fans. None whatsoever. Even knapp knows that.
