I have received text messages from people that I haven't talked to in over 2 yrs because of this game. I live in Oklahoma and I am still hearing about Gordon's yards. So yes, people outside of Nebraska who are not Nebraska fans are thinking about the Huskers and not in a good way.

Something to consider. We would be asking a new coach to come in and go undefeated. Right away. Now. We're still in the B1G, right? And you can talk all you want about how it's not about wins and losses. Coaches know better. Put what you wrote above in the first line of the job description....... You never expect a new coach to turn things around that fast, but the sooner we get one the quicker we turn. I know we're 8-2 right now.....but skersfan used the 11-2 example. I'd love to see the look on a coaching candidates face when told we need to "turn things around" at 11-2. If the new coaches came here and had a confused look on their face when being told this, then they shouldn't be here in the first place.

How would an 11-2 feel? Let me ask you this. How did you feel after the loss to Iowa last year and then the win after the Gator Bowl? I know for one, I will not feel the satisfaction I did after last years bowl game. He took my candy away from me after Iowa and then gave me the Kool-aid jug after the bowl game. The jug has just been emptied and will not fill up no matter how many more games he wins this year unless he does a staff change.

I voted that way, but I believe if it is going to be staff changes, it will have to be with reputable Coaches and not someone who he brings up from within again. I know it would be hard for him to do so because he likes his thumb on everything, but he has to get someone that will challenge him when they think he is wrong. His "buddies" right now won't do it.
