If they received the "family discount", they could not play football. I don't think you can play football if you are on a full-ride academic scholarship either. There was an article quite a while ago about an NU student athlete that had to choose between a full-ride academic scholarship or walking on and playing a game he loved. He chose the academics.

I agree that Bo is probably not going anywhere right now. But maybe he wants to go to a school where the President won't throw him under the bus?

Sorry, with this type of info, I think you need to reveal your source. Or at least the number of steps it went through before it got to you. The morning of the first game, I had someone tell me their "good source" told them that TMart was starting and that CG was in the process of packing his bags to transfer. You have a valid point WDIK - I don't have a bee line to the source - I'll be honest. But it is one hop to me and 9 times out of 10 it's dead on dating back to the hire of TO days in advance of any press knowledge. Understand your concern though man - which is why I said take it for what it's worth.....it could VERY well be inaccurate. Love being able to post/discuss now BTW. No problem HGGA, I understand. If I had information like this from a good source, I would probably post it also. Another board is saying this is from an "assistant". If this is true, I definitely want TMart resting if possible this week. But what do I know?

I would love to play Pitt if that means we are in the Fiesta Bowl. We thought we wanted revenge against Texas for some of the stuff that went on. Playing Pitt would give us a chance for some revenge on a personal level. Revenge against the guy that almost took down the whole program. Lots of 'ball to be played though before we even think about a BCS bowl.

Maybe we will see him before we think in obvious passing down situations. Not a lot of responsibility except for getting to the QB.

As a long time Lions fan, it is great seeing all the Detroit gear showing up in local sporting goods stores since they drafted Suh. It used to be you had to special order that stuff. Prince would be a great addition, but they still need a lot of help on the defensive side. Lots of football left to play. Maybe the Lions have a lower draft pick than was is predicted now. They have been very close in some games, and just need to turn the corner.

Very interesting. I could see him as a Demorrio Williams type speed rusher off the end. Something we are very much missing. Takes aways some of the assignments and "thinking" that is involved from the LB spot also. Which is something that has been talked about as lacking with Martin. Great move.
