Do we have anyone else who can play O line? Some third string defensive linemen? The scout team? Some high school kids? This can't be the best we have.

Gotta do better than a 3 and out on this drive. The last thing we need right now is Oklahoma to start chewing up our defense with the ground game.

Can we trade Culp for a special teams coach?

Are these replacement officials?

Or just go long and score a TD on the first play of the drive, either/or.

Can we just make a gentlemen's agreement with the teams we play against every weekend to go for it on 4th down every time so we don't have to figure out what to do when they punt?

Did someone say something about special teams blunders?

That's what frustrates me so much about this team. They do something great, like having a drive where they get sacks/TFLs on defense or putting together a nice drive on offense, then the very next series they fall apart. The only time the team is consistent is when they play poorly.

Four years isn't overnight, and I'd argue that the Huskers are worse in year 4 of the Frost era than we were in year 1. It's not about the transfer portal, or the refs, or the media, or any other external factor you can use as an excuse. It's about building a winning program. What did you see on Saturday that even remotely suggested to you that we're moving in that direction?

Adrian Martinez is the most overhyped QB ever to take a snap for the Huskers. I hate to talk bad about him because he seems like a genuinely good dude, but he just can't get it done. This isn't something I've learned, so much as it's something I've confirmed. When even the die-hard Frost supporters are wondering how much longer the SF experiment can continue, Frost better stop thinking about the B1G adjusting to adapt to his gameplan and start thinking about adjusting his resume to adapt to whichever FCS or Division 2 program decides to roll the dice and extend an offer to him. Regardless of how much time people think he needs, the direction the program is going in right now is unsustainable.

Martinez just tried to give the game away. Wouldn't that be a fitting ending...

With better development, we might've had a QB on our roster that we could win with. (EDIT: Not sure why it picked this post to respond to, was supposed to be the one about not being able to win with AM2 at QB)

Urban Meyer will probably be looking for a job after the NFL season is over.

At this point, it needs to happen. I'm not convinced that we can win with Frost at this point, but at least if we start looking for better coordinators he might at least give the impression that he wants to win.

Well, on the plus side, we're finally seeing defensive adjustments after the half...

Martinez can make some great throws now and then, but he's just not consistent enough to be elite.
