Sean Callahan on KFAB this morning stated that he believes distance will play a factor, so at least there is a bit of hope
-
He recently stated in an interview that he plans on playing on the interior, but plans obviously change. I honestly thought Gates was going to play on the interior.. I don't think I was the only one but maybe I was.

Seem a bit odd with Allen still on campus?

Sounds as though Riley still has yet to do an in-home with Matt so I'm not concerned.... yet

PJ is being recruited as a DE?
-
With McMullen weighing in north of 300 at fall camp, I'm guessing it wouldn't be all that easy for him to cut the weight. I like this move as I agree with what Nuance said. I wonder if this will allow for one of the twins to get reps at DE.

GT: Nebraska at #11 Michigan State - 5:30PM CT - BTN
huskerhill replied to huskeraddict's topic in Husker Basketball
WTF was that?!?!?! -
He is listed on the huskers 16-17 roster along with POB
-
ISU bound

Anyone heard whether or not there may be academic issues?
-
I believe it is the opposite. Boundary corner defends the short side of the field while the other corner, I believe typically called the field corner, defends the wider part of the field.

That could be tough with Gerry, A. Williams, and A. Reed.... Being recruited as a CB Ah, I didn't realize that. The path to starting would seem even harder for him then. Kalu, and Jones really seemed to be coming on there towards the end. Either way, looking forward to getting a kid like this in the fold. Beings the pass defense was ranked 121st in the nation, I'm assuming that all but one position in the secondary (Gerry) is up for grabs.

Seems there will be some attrition of roster
huskerhill replied to Eric the Red's topic in Husker Football
And...? They're still enrolled? They would have left at semester if they were leaving immediately. Now, they could reconsider if spring ball doesn't go their way... This is what I was thinking but I was just stating a fact.... -

I'm not sure where I read it, but apparently AJ Bush and Mikale Wilbon were seen sitting in the front row at the most recent home basketball game. -
(2016) SG Deshawn Corprew [Texas Tech Commit]
huskerhill replied to huskerhill's topic in Basketball Recruiting Profiles
You'd think the last spot would be used on a big, but maybe miles figures he's not going to waste a scholly on a big guy just to get one. Since Hammond fell out if the rotation, it hasn't seemed to hurt not having that length out there. I read in another board that DONU will likely offer his teammate who is a four star PF. -
Are you trolling..? He is
-
Huh... thought it was a forgone conclusion he was UCLA bound...

WR Desmond Fitzpatrick [Louisville - Signed LOI]
huskerhill replied to Mavric's topic in 2016 Profiles
If NU loses Fitzpatrick, that is a bad sign as he was supposed to be part of a string of guys coming together, and would continue the drought we've had with so many near misses. I'm still waiting until national signing day to make any final comments on this staff's 2016 recruiting, but its going to be harder and harder for them to finish with a top 20 class and meet my expectations. I wonder how high a priority meeting your expectations is for this staff? I'm sure the same as the staff cares about concerns regarding their unwillingness to run the ball most of the season as well as posters concerns about the record this season. -

According to the first post he was just on the north side of KC, not near Columbia, FYI.I know. Was simply saying he's not attending school in Mizzou's back yard. Bishop Miege is 3 miles farther away from Columbia. Now he's in the neighbors side yard...

One could only hope... Tangents on topics that few care about seems to be norm heading into signing day

I believe 247 only counts the top 20 kids of each class so it is completely fair.
