  1. If he answers a few it's more than Obama did. All you have to do is look at how he "took care" of the people who put him in office. African Americans are in much worse shape now than they were when he took over. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/433222/black-americans-barack-obama-going-backwards-under-president-obama http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/01/tavis-smiley-on-every-leading-economic-issue-black-americans-have-lost-ground-under-obama-video/
  2. Not only that the R's kicked the D's butt and kept the Senate and the House. Obama was such a failure as President that he saved the Republican Party from themselves. Failure is subjective. Now, if he had just been a good Republican, THAT would have stopped Congress from being completely dysfunctional. I think he probably should've used their clearly superior policies instead of his own failed ones. That's where he went wrong! Not really, look at the state of the country and you will see how our economy is terrible, foreign policy is a joke, race relations are the worst since the 60's, and in typical liberal fashion, they want to blame everyone else for their failures. It's the white racist/sexist boogeyman 's fault she lost. Not the fact that the country is tired of how far left the Democrats and their policies are and the fact that they handed their nomination to a career criminal that even the media couldn't hand the election to her with their extremely biased reporting. Dem's are going to have to come back to the center to win an election anytime soon as the far left policies of Obama were also one of the main reasons she lost. The really funny part about your uniformed snippy comment about Republicans is that Trump isn't a true Republican either, he fought and beat the Republican establishment, Democratic establishment, and the biased liberal media. The meltdown by the left is one of the most pathetic yet funny things I have ever seen. The celebrities and elites whining and blaming everyone but themselves for being out of touch with America is hilarious. The protesters are just showing their ignorance which is nothing new for young liberals.
  3. Trump has been in battle with Fox off and on throughout the campaign. They aren't likely to be happy he won.Again, Trump is not a Republican. They have no reason to love him. Yet he was able to convince Republicans to be their nominee and the Republicans voted right down party line in the general election. He did a great job of convincing these poor, white rural Republicans that an elite, New York trust fund baby was just like them. Critical thinking was clearly not as important as "making America great again." Whatever that means. Again, all Trump supporters are so dumb Knapp. So dumb they handed Hillary a resounding defeat. You can see it as dumb if you like. Or misguided, or fooled. You can't claim with a sense of honesty that you know Trump, or that what you do know of him qualifies him. I get voting against Hillary. I'd have happily done that if Trump in the White House wasn't the consequence. Trump is the worst choice for president in decades, maybe forever. Clinton was maybe the 2nd worse, but she was clearly better for the health of this country. I won't lie to anyone and say their Trump vote is OK. It's damaging to this country and proves the electorate is uninformed - gleefully so. That's a simple reality. This is only true if you more closely agree with what you expect the policies and agenda of a Clinton White House would be as compared to a Trump White House. And - more to the point - what you choose to focus on as the more important issues as opposed to what others may think are more important. You have every right to do that but that's a pretty haughty attitude that seems to be more prevalent on the Liberal side of the aisle. You continue to hold up the idea that your beliefs are superior to other such that others are fools or uninformed in their thinking. That you know better than anyone who disagrees with you. But yet you don't seem to realize it. For someone who stikes me as pretty level-headed and even-keeled in most other areas, this is a surprising attitude to me. You nailed it, this is the type of liberal thinking that this country is tired of. The "if you don't agree with me you are an" (take you pick, uniformed idiot, racist, bigot, XXX-phoebe or whatever label fits that liberal's agenda). This is what has fueled the division of this country and this shows just how far out of touch the left is from their pandering media or propaganda machine in the case of CNN which should be ashamed of themselves all the way to the head of the DNC and their failed President.
  4. Neither does this the contrapositive prove. And I didn't make that claim.Correct - Knapp has said all week leading up to this election that Trump supporters were ignorant and uninformed. I'm pointing out that that is very unfair of him to say. It is the truth. One cannot be "informed" about a candidate who constantly changes his position, lies, denies truth and fails to disclose pertinent information about himself. Pretending you're informed about Trump is self-delusion. So is it self-delusion for those who feel they are "informed" about Hillary?
  5. True, one is about to leave a position of power in 73 days.
  6. That is a terrible draft class. I follow the NBA decently close and forgot about how bad that draft was.
  7. Not only that the R's kicked the D's butt and kept the Senate and the House. Obama was such a failure as President that he saved the Republican Party from themselves.
  8. The Republican Party now controls the entire government. And none of them like Trump. He will accomplish nothing as POTUS. Accomplishing nothing is still leaving as a net negative as the current President that is that is leaving in 73 days. Obama was a terrible disappointment as POTUS. He should have brought us together instead of dividing the nation the way he did.
  9. Of course they won't. They will double down. I hope they won't but they are already making charges of racist, white, etc Those were UNION DEMOCRATS that went for Trump. Rust belters in four key states that have been treated like trash by both parties for decades and have seen their cities looted for wealthy East Coast elites. Why wouldn't they vote for the ONE guy who talked to them like they mattered? They sure are as it is rule number one for all liberals when things don't go their way. It's all the white racist bogyman's fault.
  10. You being against it is enough for me to believe that the country did the right thing tonight.
  11. I agree with the ST's coach, disagree with Banker. Let him have a defense with some depth in the front 7 and some LB's who can tackle before judging him. He's done really well this year in spite of the limitations due to our front seven.
  12. There is no way you can question the kids heart, he is a warrior that is for sure.
  13. I have heard this but have yet to see anyone give me one good example of what she has done other than be a woman. He experience is that of accomplishing little or nothing positive (unless you count fatting her bank account as an political accomplishment) and that is her problem. She can't win if people look at her "accomplishments" and "experience" because it is all negative. (losing jobs in NY, Syria, Libya, corruption) That is the only reason as to why Trump has a chance on Monday and if he wasn't...well Trump, and would have stuck to the facts and policies, he would have had this election won a long time ago. But there in lies his issues, he has zero experience or knowledge on how to govern, doesn't know how to speak politically correct which is how the POTUS needs to speak at times, so it is a choice between someone who has no idea what they are doing and someone who is only successful at making money for their "foundation" and everything she touches ends up as a disaster. Hell the DNC and the media have tried to hand this to her on a platter and it still is in doubt. What level of incompetence does it take to blow it with all of those advantages? No matter who people are voting for they are going to have to ignore a lot of valid concerns and hold their nose and take a shower after voting. America is screwed either way, we are just picking which slide we want to take to get to hell.
  14. Agreed. Love the passion they have for this team but we can't get it done with 3 walk-ons starting. Regardless of injuries, we need depth. A major concern for his team because they are all young. On the Bright side..they are talented. OSU stated like 10 sophomores or younger. A number of them were freshman. If our talent is so bad, why didn't Riley's first class of lineman get time? Because they will be even better with a year to put on muscle and learn the offense, not to mention they are looking at the big picture for the program and that is why you haven't seen the redshirts burned. This year was going to be a transitional year anyway because he still doesn't have his players yet, especially at the QB position. TA's elusiveness also plays a factor as it allows for average to poor line play and we can get away with it (for the most part). If we had a statue at QB, I am betting that those redshirts would have been burned a long time ago. Not to mention NU isn't the NFL factory that tOSU is so those guys play early because they are going to leave for the NFL early.
  15. It makes no sense to me. I can see the younger fans being a little butthurt about it because they never saw NU at the pinnacle of their success. So they have mainly seen it happen to us, while not knowing that we used to do it almost on a weekly basis. Back then we would say things like we are using our 2nd,3rd,4th string players, they will run the offense and if XX University can't stop them, then that is their fault for allowing backups to score on them. Well that holds true when we are on the wrong side of one of those ass whippings. It's our job to stop them, we have nobody to blame but ourselves for allowing them to run the score up because we didn't stop them.
  16. Ohio State seemed bored more than anything over the last month. It bit them in the butt in Happy Valley, and after being asked what is wrong with them by everyone on campus/media, they played their first marquee primetime game at home. Well, we got their full attention instead of the sleepwalking version that has been going through the motions over the past month. Ohio State is going to run this conference for the foreseeable future unless a lot of these young guys go pro early. We are at least three good recruiting classes from having the talent/depth to realistically go into a place like the horseshoe and expect to compete with having a good chance at leaving with a win. This is more proof for the "walk on" people that this is what you get when you are forced to play a lot of them against a championship caliber team and it isn't pretty. Don't be surprised if Ohio State beats the hell out of Mechicken too the last weekend of the regular season. They have also played a very easy schedule where they have only played two teams (Rutgers and MSU) on the road so far. They play at Iowa next weekend who has fallen off the map. At home vs Indiana then at Ohio State. http://www.espn.com/college-football/team/schedule/_/id/130/michigan-wolverines
  17. We have to blitz because our DL can't put pressure on the QB on their own. The problem with that is that our LB's are over agressive and overrun plays (like Wisky's first TD last week by MRI) or they run by the play by trying to arm tackle instead of tackling with good form and dicipline.
  18. Banker doesn't have a choice with LB's who can't tackle and a DL who can't put pressure on the QB on their own. Our front 7 needs better athletes who are more disciplined and who can tackle, not this MRI arm tackling BS he has done all year.
  19. Back to Lincoln and prepare for Minnesota. Try to win 2/3 from here. Bowl. Improvement on last year. We aren't stuck in neutral, but we aren't ready for the big games. We can win all three and the bowl game. 11-2 is still the best season we have had since Crouch was our QB.
  20. Yes, we've got to wrap up, penetrate, and D them down.
  21. I can't wait until we get LB's that can tackle. So tired of watching RI miss tackles in a Nebraska uniform.
  22. Probably the most ironic post I have ever seen on this board.
