I'd say it's ok for kids, but depending on age whether they'd get it or like it is another thing

They throw the occasional swear word out there, but yes, I'd say it was kid friendly. Saw it last night and there were tons of kids in the theater.
Enhance
If you've let them see other Marvel movies, then this one should be OK. The most violent part in the whole movie isn't completely shown. The rest is just basic comic book violence.
