Alabama, and to some extent Clemson and even lesser tOSU, are in a completely different category. They are football factories and yes even they are starting with better raw material than Texas or USC or FSU. Sure maybe Bama is doing some cutting edge S&C stuff but if Nebraska did the exact same S&C there would still be a huge difference in the programs. Winning begets winning and it takes a whole bunch of sustained winning to get to where the top 3 programs are at.

so we should probably try to hire those people away from there.

We're not willing to spend the type of money that would lure them away where they are.
