  1. Hey I was clearly wrong. I'll eat it. Edit: And it was also before we saw the complete buffoonery of the Big Ten. He stays if we're playing.
  2. He's versatile enough that he can go outside if needed. Think its Wynden and an OLB depending on what happens with Payton. Also it should be noted, his lone CB before Wiltfong's, was a CB to MSU by a MSU insider. He's now switched it to Nebraska with a 8/10 level.
  3. You have to think one of them will. My guess is Kpai.
  4. And Wiltfong puts Nebraska CB in for him about an hour ago so
  5. Frost and Co would've definitely taken AD if he wanted N, considering his natural talent that is an hour from campus. That said, there's no shame in admitting we lost out on him, especially when it has been suggested he wanted out of Nebraska. Not sure how true it is but I saw it mentioned that his dad was anti-Nebraska and steered him away from Lincoln. That said, considering the S&C he needs to have to be a legit D1 contributor, he wouldn't have gotten the early PT he seeks if he chose NU, then again if he did have the size and strength needed, those LSU/OSU offers would've been commitable, not to slight him. Florida probably offers too and he's gone anyway.
  6. And there should be an option for them to vote on.
  7. Agree. I feel like Frost's classes have been more balanced, filling needs. Riley's classes while being in that top 25 range had holes. Bo often didn't fill his classes and it made every miss amplified.
  8. Nether am I. Both have at least 20 years of stability that nearly no other program in the conference has, except maybe NW; 30 in Wisconsin's case. Its honestly, to me, why they've been successful or have seen higher floors than everyone else.
  9. This class will be an outlier going forward, for specific reasons out of the program's control. I do like this offer. He won't be counted on to contribute immediately and might even find his way moving down a level depending on his physical progression.
  10. That's certainly part of it but I think more of it has to do with having a degree from Notre Dame.
  11. We're gonna have to weather this cycle. Not having visits really hurt. That said, we'll survive.
  12. Who said anything about using a LB? Specifically for Purdue and how they play. At any rate, the point you were making should be less of an issue this year in theory. It seemed like last season, Miller and Honas didn't handle the intermediate stuff well at all.
  13. And Chins insisted on keeping him out there knowing that.
  14. Because of our slow LBs, they made a living there.
  15. He definitely does. Got 30 years of skin in the game.
  16. While it makes you wonder, I do think the Big Ten schedule makers didn't want to make a big fuss by adding teams that could rock the boat. That said even though Wisconsin starts playing OSU in '22 for the next 6 years, they only see one other top east team in '24. Can't see '25 and '26 schedules yet so it could happen then but the Big Ten continues to take it easy on the Badgers.
  17. They lose their top 3 leaders in tackles, their INT leader, 3 starting DL and 70% of their receptions. Have a very hard time seeing them only having 2 conference losses like last year. While Fleck did was commendable, Kill laid the ground work with many of those contributors last year.
  18. Between this and the fact he played behind a couple of D1 teammates, I think his ceiling might be fairly decent. His work in the long jump, especially where his is encouraging.
  19. I was gonna posting that! I know we've seen some very low points here, especially in the Big Ten, but I could never see us claiming a Co-Divisional championship. We'd claim a division championship but I feel we would only revel in it for a split second. I feel other schools make a big deal of success in the west, which I understand to a point, but the focus should be beating the teams in the East eventually imo. In Minnesota's case, guess you gotta start somewhere. Nice season they had though.
  20. I actually found out recently myself.
  21. I don't see William's returning for '21. He's older and probably would like to get started playing professionally if he can. I believe he recently graduated as well.
  22. Yep. Big time program down here. Have been producing D1 athletes for well over a decade.
  23. I really think it will. In reality, this program has been unstable since, "If they wanna fire me then fire me." Maybe even a little before that.
  24. To that point, unlike LSU's D Coordinator and his staff, I feel this staff will over recruit its roster. Which will force those that are dead weight to move on. Whereas BP allowed kids that didn't contribute stay on scholarship. He also routinely did not fill his classes. This staff is almost always going to take its maximum scholarship allotment every cycle(+3 included).
