  1. Almost nobody on this board knows anything about Iowa, Iowa Fan, Iowa Football history or culture, or anything that could be used as a verbal weapon to get under your skin. We'd bring up past scandals but we have no idea if you've had any. We'd laugh about Ferentz' contract but he did pretty well last year. #rivals You should pick up a Sports Illustrated every once in a while. Iowa is on the cover a lot.
  2. I hope you brushed your teeth this morning. You mean tooth? Not yet.
  3. I will just say this, at the beginning of a season if you hope for the Rose bowl that means you will have won the Big10. That either puts you into consideration for the National championship game or the Rose bowl, which ever your team deserves at the time. We are merely just hoping to be the best in the Big10 and take whatever credit comes with that. Hope that helps.
  4. He is a beast, if I were his coach he would have gotten a mouthful on that one though. Suh belongs in the MMA
  5. You guys should be flattered, Nebraska football is what Iowa football wants to be. That's why some compare the two schools, they are right next door and haven't played a whole ton so there is not much to base any arguments on. I have to admit Nebraska is intimidating and could slow our rise to the top of the big ten. The Legends division will go through Lincoln, Iowa City and Ann Arbor from here on out. Holvy usually when you compare a ten year span you would go from 2001-2010 by the way. P.S. If you want an Iowa board without the Nebraska threads try Hawkeyenation.com instead of the rivals site, the rivals site has just gotten ridiculous.
  6. Fry put Iowa on the map, I'm so happy to see his former coaches do so well. Wonder if Bo has a Hawkeye tattoo? To think he did this when Nebraska was at their best, just one state over, is a great accomplishment.
  7. Wisky like Iowa, needs a game manager at qb to win. Wilson's problems are his turnovers, if history is relevant that will result in teams like Wisky and Iowa to have a sub-par year (excluding Iowa 2009). As stated before he does not seem to be a dual threat qb, but he does have scrambling abilities which is important on 3rd down and long, when everyone is covered. I would suspect Wisky to use him as a pro style qb, relying on the offensive line to cover him, pass first and run second type mentality. Knowing Brett he will dial something up (rushing wise)for his qb in every game.
  8. Good post. Are these averages or just the amount allotted?
  9. I deleted those if someone wants to see that, they can look it up on their own. Shouldn't have posted them.
  10. I really wish they would bring back chief Illiniwek, that was pretty cool. Wisconsin and Penn st. student sections are definitely the best tons more on them if any cares to see more.
