Far as I can tell, he hasn't been taken, yet. Lot of comments on twitter about being surprised he hasn't been selected yet.

I think basically, unless the conference presidents really flame out on this, that we're at a four-team playoff, in essence, with the only real discussion being where the games will be played, how the teams are selected, and how the monies are divied up.

Yeah, the problem is that I stopped listening to a lot of the junk out of 1480 for the same reason. I like Sip, but the combo just drives me crazy sometimes. Give me Jeff Culhane any day of the week over most of the Omaha and Lincoln guys. And yes, I know he's the 'Husker' brand sports show, but ultimately, I just like the guy's style a lot better than most of the local guys. Out of Omaha on the radio, I like Kugler, but not many others.

I'd agree with Nebula, I think Dirk would be a lot better if they kept him with just his blog pieces and his human interest pieces. I think he actually is at his best on his human interest pieces, he's done some amazing work in that respect. Some of his 'reporting' sounds like he asked Lee what to say and jotted down the most negative piece of tripe possible. As for Jake, I can't stand the guy. Agreed. Would easily be the most successful coach we've had at that point. Up til now, we've had Cip and Nee to carry the Husker b-ball name. Love to see Miles surpass them all!
