knapplc
Good Morning, Americans. It's Monday. Just thought I'd take a moment to recap the very good weekend by Husker Sports. Football Despite being a 1.5-point underdog, the Huskers beat Purdue 31-14 (and it should have been 31-0). The Blackshirts held the Boilermakers to under 100 yards Rushing AND Passing. We went undefeated in October for the first time in 22 years, and we have our first three-game win streak since 2016. Volleyball The top-ranked Huskers became the only undefeated team in the country after sweeping Maryland and Rutgers over the weekend. Soccer The 19th-ranked Soccer team defeated Ohio State 3-2 to advance in the Big Ten tournament. The second-seeded Huskers play third-seed Wisconsin on Thursday. WBB Husker Women's Basketball defeated Dakota Wesleyan 83-47 in an exhibition game. MBB Husker Men's Basketball defeated Doane 84-53 in an exhibition game. The only downside to this one is the injury to Keisei Tominaga. I think the only loss suffered by the Huskers this weekend was Rifle losing to West Virginia by the slimmest of margins (4732-4722). Otherwise, it was just about a perfect weekend. Just for fun, here's Quinton Newsome's TD on that blocked field goal attempt. 1 1 1 4 Quote Link to comment

Weren't the Huskers were the only undefeated team after beating Wiskey? What a game that was. 1 Quote Link to comment

Only undefeated team in the country after Citadel lost in five to the Western Carolina Catamounts this past Saturday. 1 Quote Link to comment
