MadcatNU
Got this off ESPN. An AP voter out of New Orleans was kicked out of the poll after his most recent ballot was turned in under the impression OU lost to TTU. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2663882 Quote Link to comment
beamout2000
What an idiot. Said he couldn't find the score. Ever heard of ESPN.com or Yahoo sports. Duhhhhhhhhhh Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
OU fans will be complaining about this one too! Yeah I was wondering what caveman writer was doing solely replying on the morning paper for the scores rather than checking the internet. I also calls into question how well some of the voters follow the other teams. Quote Link to comment

They just look at scores and send in their ballot. Quote Link to comment
desertshox
AP sports editor Terry Taylor said: "We understand mistakes can happen, but we thought this one could have been prevented. The heart of the matter here is the credibility of the poll." credibility of the poll? i like that. they make an agreement with a group to determine a national champion then crown a different team the champion. now they are worried about credibility. and besides most fans think the pollsters are biased anyway.
