cmb23
Its been a successful season, many would say For the Big 12 Title NU will finally play However there is a lot of work left to do On Saturday another classic with storied OU It's a tradition and rivalry, none are the same Many try to compare USC - Notre Dame This game brings back memories of the old Big 8 Each other they respect...each other they hate OU's season was in trouble, it was in the stars Starting QB Bomar made money for NOT selling cars Then came the debacle against the Oregon Ducks The refs made a horrible call, those stupid F... ...Funny how the program was able to rebound But that's easy to do with A.D. on the ground He seemed on track to take the Heisman throne Until he made that TD dive into the endzone Out for the season, what an unfortunate break How much more could this Sooner team take? Well, they ended the season with 7 straight wins Giving coach Stoops some chuckles and grins The North was supposed to be a dogfight, it's true Between the Huskers, Cyclones and Tigers of Mizzou But as the season wore on, one rose above the rest It was apparent that in the North, NU was the best The season wasn't perfect there's no debate With losses to USC, Texas and to Okie State There were other close calls, in particular two A last second win at A&M, and OT against KU Callahan has gained respect among many fans Mixing traditional running with his West Coast plans And on some plays, there is much anticipation For the offense to show a little trickeration OK - thats enough love and respect for one another Time to talk some smack about our old Big 8 brother For Husker Nation, Boomer Sooner better make way "Yer a bunch of F'in Hillbillies" as Callahan would say OU has a strong running game, that is just fine The only "All Day" in their backfield will be our D-Line Carriker and Moore will make Thompson a believer That he should move back from QB to Wide Receiver The offensive player of the year leads without a glitch Zac Taylor is the man..."Im the Juggernaut Biatch!" The OU defense is in trouble, nothing will help their cause Sooner fans will be calling for Roy Williams and "The Boz" For Corn Chips and Cotton these two teams will play Win or lose, they'll be in action on New Years Day But OU knows that the Huskers control their fate NU will be in Arizona, Sooners in the Longhorn state The Game of the Century, this may not be But this is the matchup we've been waiting to see The war will be waged at a neutral site in Arrowhead But it will look like a Saturday in Lincoln with a sea of Red Boats have been burned, Order has been restored This will be one to remember, set your DVR to record Leave them bloody...beaten...and crawling to the shower Coast to coast the air will ring with the cry HUSKER POWER! cmb23
Awesome job! When I send it to a friend I'm going to correct Adrian Peterson's to A.P. This is the best to date. Players and coaches refer to Peterson as 'A.D.' - his nickname. He was so good growing up that they called him 'All-Day' shortened to A.D. Quote Link to comment
