Edward Britton Sr. said Friday that his son will visit Nebraska beginning next Friday and watch the Cornhuskers play Baylor.

Britton, who entered Friday night's game against Americas averaging 231.7 yards per game this season, is scheduled to visit Texas Tech on Oct. 23 to see the Red Raiders play No. 5 Texas.

The 17-year-old Britton, who has 4.3 speed and rushed for more than 2,100 yards and 22 touchdowns as a junior last season to draw attention from the nation's top football schools, is expected to make a decision prior to signing day in February.

Running backs are the least of my concern. We don't lose ross, horne, jackson or green. We could get one to be safe but we are setting pretty good there. It'd be nice to get some Dlineman,Olineman, other defenders.

We still need to develop some depth. Any running back that we get (except Marlon Lucky) will probally redshirt next year and then come in when Ross and Horne have graduated.

Callahan and staff don't believe in redshirts.

Nah...They just don't know how to use them. See'n how most of them have been in a redshirt free environment for the last few years. :)

it's pretty stupid, no reason that panico, the two on kick offs, jackson shouldn't be redshirting. It's a pure waste.
