Benard
mizzou's top back is suspended indef. of course that didn't help us against kstate with their starting qb and one of their best defenders. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
I heard that he was upset with the play calling and came out and told the coaches about it. Im not sure if that is true, but that is what I heard. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt
Yeah I saw the interview with him talking to the press when he questioned his coaches. I imagine Pinkel approached him about it and he blew up Incognito style, which found him the bench. An interesting note is that they are now forced to burn the redshirt of their star freshman RB Tony Temple from KC. Heres an art from STLtoday: One of the most telling quotes appeared in a column by the Kansas City Star's Jason Whitlock. At the end of that column, Nash was quoted as saying, "I wish I had the headphones on to hear what's going on. I wish I could call the offense. I didn't understand a lot of the plays." Whitlock told the Missouri athletic department that he obtained the quote after Nash had left the interview room and was underneath the bleachers. Full art Quote Link to comment
Benard
he could have just been suspended for the comments alone to the press. That is showing no respect to a coach. If you question it go the coach himself. I can't say I don't disagree with what he said however. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
I have no problem with him questioning the plays, but he needs to approach the coaches about it behind closed doors rather than bring it to the media. No football team needs that kind of off the field distraction. Quote Link to comment

Redout
This was not an isolated incident. He has pulled junk like that before. Quote Link to comment
Benard
The big rumor is that mizzou is going to pull tony temples redshirt away and start him against us. He was the number 8 back out of hschool last year. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Hopefully he is not ready for big time college football. I hope that the blackshirts make his first game his worst day ever. Quote Link to comment

You see where he is right now, so why is that any indication that this kid will have a big game against Nebraska? Has anyone seen him play, let alone face a hopefully raucous homecoming game crowd? Didn't think so. Quote Link to comment
Utah_Husker
It doesn't matter if he plays or not. If our defense doesn't get the chip back on their shoulder, Brad Smith will beat us by himself. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
How will Brad Smith beat the Huskers with Pinkel's "short bus" game plan? Quote Link to comment

I didn't say they suck, I said how they are rated doesn't necessarily translate to performance on the field. You must like Mugs root beer because you are THICK HEADED! Quote Link to comment
