From An SC Fan: If We Were In The Pac-10...

Recommended Posts

Does anyone else think this is a stupid tread topic? I mean, the thing is, Nebraska ISN'T in the Pac 10 and never will be! So what's the point?

I've never fallen into these stupid comparisons as they are pointless. Better to talk about reality than "what-ifs".

Reality: NU needs to step it up, like, ten steps to beat sc... I belive they can do it though, and that will shut everyone up...wouldn't silence be a nice "sound" for once????

I can almost hear it...utter silence from Brisol... Or maybe the soft munching sound of Herbstreit eating his words!

Husker fans!!! It's on baby...and were coming down there with our latte's and blonde haired women and giants of a football team to show you two things. 1. Championship Football and 2. Good looking women.

And by the way inorder for you guys to win a Championship you have to get players from Cali: Abdul Mahammud, Lawrence Phillups, Marlon Lucky, Sam Keller,Thunder Collins, Amand Green and much more...so We still win when you win.... and Callahan is a Joke!!!

See ya Saturday in Linclon for the big Red blow out!!! or on http://allaccess.am570radio.com/forum/viewtopic.one?id=51931 to hear what more Husker fans have to say about saturday's game.

First of all, we already know what championship football looks like, we played championship football for over forty years here and are getting back to playing it again... you guys? You win a title every 20 years or so and even with some of the best teams this century you STILL only have ONE trophy to show for it. 2nd we have both latte's and hot blondes here as well... I much prefer cappuccinos to the lattes but love the hot blondes - expecially since I'm dating one.

Hmm, really Cali players huh? Lets check the list here, Abdul Muhammud.. no idea who that is... if you mean WALI Muhammad he is from New Jersey and wouldn't even be one of the top 10 at his position for an all time NU team. Lawrence Phillips was from Arkansas and if he wasn't a dumbass he was clearly better than Reggie "thanks for the house" Bush. Ahman Green is a local boy from Omaha.. so basically on the list you have Thunder Collins - a decent player who took his ball and went home, Sam Keller - who may or may not beat the hell out of you guys this weekend but either way someone needs to smack whoever taught him how to throw in the back of the head for not teaching him better mechanics, and Marlon Lucky - Still has a lot to prove to earn the hype, but he's already guaranteed to be one of the smartest people on the field this weekend simply becuase he was smart enough to not attend U$C.

Whether we run the Option or run the WCO, we recruit athletes all around the country, we don't have the luxury of USC to just fill our class with home town kids - nor will we pay them to play for us. From my experiance as a CFB fan, California kids on average are simply Overrated, Kids from Texas are smarter on the field, Kids from Florida are faster and kids from smaller cities like Omaha and elsewhere around the contry have more heart and are alot more responsible most of the time.

So congratulations on winning a bunch of games in the weak Pac 10 and against extremely overrated Michigan and Notre Dame teams but only winning ONE national title in your wannabe dynasty.
