huskerfaninbuckeyehell
Games' not out of reach by a long shot. We just need to get ourselves motivated on D and start tearing it up on offense. Else it's over, and I mean OVER. let me tell ya something if they aren't and weren't motivated for this game then what are the chances that cosgrove will get them motivated...He needs to go cause we are stuck with the curl up and die style of cally. Husker B
Even if we do lose this, its only one loss people. Going 3-1 (hopefully) into conference play is not the end of the world. Quote Link to comment
Lex_351
21-10 at the half... Remember when Nebraska was known for their rushing game and SC was a throwing team? Welcome to 2007 and the reality of your team's ability. Fight On! your a tool. don't forget that. Remember when people had values and didn't want to sell their souls to hollywood for commercialism? Welcome to 2007? Look, "USC TRADITION" - you have absolutely NO right to talk about reality. SoCal --- Nothing is more fake than that. I have two words for you The Red & White Knight....Stafon Johnson....continue to believe he is fake! Heh Heh! Fight On! Quote Link to comment
papersun87
Checking in here at the half . . . Now I'm not going to accuse Pete Carroll of anything, but I'm just going to say those two injured guys were laying there on the field a VERY long time. A curiously long time when considering that your whole game depends on making the home crowd a nonfactor. I'm just saying. And it's REALLY pissing me off, because if that first guy hadn't laid there for a freakin' hour, NEBRASKA WOULD BE WINNING THIS GAME. Keller has been amazing so far, and Glenn has been way better than I expected. Here's to a second half for the ages, and GO BIG RED! Quote Link to comment
OmahaPlaya
I do agree the game is not out of reach yet. Still got 30 min of football to play. D has to tighten up on the line but at the same time we can't let down our guard on the secondary when they throw. Quote Link to comment
Hawkeyehusker
Unfortunately USC gets the ball first coming back. Quote Link to comment
Husker B
I'd pay money to watch the Huskers if they were en route to a 0-10 season. Stop with the pissy atitudes and support your team. Quote Link to comment
REDSTEEL
B)--> QUOTE(Husker B @ Sep 15 2007, 09:15 PM) 213607[/snapback] We can get back in this. A few stops, maybe one turnover, plus Cally gets back to doing what works, i.e. slants, comebacks, and 8 yard outs. Any chance we have is if we stop them first possession if Nu doesnt this game is over. Quote Link to comment

If you can't be nice go home. One Trojan to another. Quote Link to comment
HuskerJosh82
I do not want to see another repeat from last year. Pull it out guy's. Quote Link to comment
California Husker
21-10 at the half... Remember when Nebraska was known for their rushing game and SC was a throwing team? Welcome to 2007 and the reality of your team's ability. Fight On! Remember when all of the USC "fans" were UCLA fans? I do. See copy of my previous post below. USC Tradition? What tradition is that? Lose for two decades and when you finally win a championship act like you are God? Or is it the tradition of paying players, fixing grades, harboring criminals, and brushing violations under the table (I know, I know, what about LP. But he never hacked two peoples heads off). I am from Southern California. I grew up with people who went to USC. Most who go there have an entirely perverted sense of entitlement that sickens most people with any sort of social conscience. Oh, by the way…nice fan base. Five years ago there were 45,000 empty seats at a home game against a conference rival? You have got to be kidding me. And those who do claim to be fans now are left over Raider fans who have nowhere to go on the weekend to get drunk and attack visiting fans (I’m not kidding, half the USC fans, have raider tattoos under their brand new shinny #5 Reggie Bush jerseys). I can’t wait for USC to start sucking again like they did all through the `80’s and `90’s. Of course then we will have another problem. All of those “lifelong USC fans” will suddenly become “lifelong UCLA fans.” Trust me, I know this for a fact. I saw it happen in the late `80’s when Troy Aikman showed up in Westwood. Washusker
Getting our asses kicked on the line of scrimmage. We're in trouble... Quote Link to comment
Husker B
We really dont need the flame wars right now. Create another thread for that crap or just stop. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
Tell you what, here's what the boys need to do. Get out there and have some fun with this game. There's nothing to lose here. Play hard, play smart, don't worry about making the big play every time. Small victories, one by one. Take chances, throw it deep. Run the ball when you can. If we lose, ah well, but I don't think we will. Our D-line is going to come out and play football. They're going to correct what needs to be fixed, and then we're going to start marching down the field with our snappy QB Sam Keller. Damn, you better believe it. Quote Link to comment
