skersOVRsc
Thats a great way to put it. So dont take up a booth in the restaurant anymore. Do like every other fair-weather fan and go next door till they are serving your favorite again. Then you can come back and claim to be a fan..............as long as they keep serving your favorites. Nice job editing your post and removing the personal attack. And no, I'm not a blind loyalist. If you want to be one, fine. Enjoy the Pedeyocrity Era. Nice job talking about everything except but the point. I even said to be upset and complain is the right thing to do if you deem it nescesary. My issue is with the people who left the game early, so save your self righteous "I'm soooo f'ing enlightened" crap for someone who cares. To have "fans" leave a game where you are still competing is such an insult as a player. I don't know if you ever played, but it is incredibly dis-heartening to be a part of. Maybe if you would take your "Steve is Satan" glasses off for just a minute you would see this still boils down to 21 year old kids playing a game that we enjoy watching, and to disrespect them by leaving just because they arent winning is disgusting. BIGREDIOWAN
I actually felt physically sick to my stomach last Saturday as I was sitting there in the South Stadium. I think it hit me that my team (even though I love them more than life itself) was not as good as I had hoped they would be. I still think we can win out the rest of our schedule, but we just aren't ready to compete with the USC's and that hits home pretty hard considering I thought that we could. Quote Link to comment

They put the ball on the ground on a PR and a KR inside the 15, they recovered both. Keller was picked off a tip and a DE zone drop inside our own 20. Â Thats four plays that changed the outcome of the game.....just cause they could run the ball at will and we couldnt doesnt mean we didnt stand a chance, hell we still had over 400 yards of offense! I know we got dominated at the line of scrimage on both sides of the ball, but a few breaks our way and its a different game. Quote Link to comment

Hmmm....I thought I adequately addressed my point. I don't have blind loyalty to anyone. You can call it self-righteous, I just call it who I am. Nevertheless, your point it well taken. It's certainly not the fault of the kids. It's too bad they're caught in the middle of this mess. OTOH, they may learn a lesson about the highs and lows of life. Quote Link to comment

However lucky isn't going to be good enough against these types of teams. How can three Huskers be jumping on the ball as one USC guy is and the USC guy still comes up with the ball??? Luck would have helped keep the game closer, but our defense ultimately lost the game for us not the missed opportunities with the fumbles. Quote Link to comment
Bugeater
So those things didnt happen? Yes, they happened. They had little effect on the outcome of the game though. USC would've just had to keep their foot on the gas a little longer. Quote Link to comment

Just because I see things as they are doesn't mean I'm depressed. Quote Link to comment
